Malagaram Posted August 19 Share Posted August 19 (edited) Got all excited when I saw that Toney was left out of the squad yesterday,but thought he was older than 28 years old.Have googled him this morning and he is rumoured to be going to a club called Al Ahli(and no I havent heard of them),but apparently he is making huge wage demands.I can see now why Paul Warne is finding it difficult to sign new players and we havent a chance in hell of signing a premier league player unless they are 35 plus years old.Watched the West Ham Villa game on Saturday,half way through the second half W H made 2 subs and the T V commentator said these 2 players have been signed this year for 53 million pounds,what chance we would have (if we ever get promoted) of surviving one year in the Prem.There must be some very rich people behind prem clubs,what are our chances of finding a super rich backer/sponsor,and who could that be,maybe Rolls Royce ? anyone think of a rich person/company in Derby Edited August 19 by Boycie MackworthRamIsGod 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
