Hopefully, for those of us without access to any stream or radio commentary or anything else will get some good updates on the game at half time from people who are there rather than endless guff about how bad people are finding Sky+

It hasn’t been great but sort of effective. We look like a very ordinary away side with no bite.

Boro corner headed clear, defender passes backwards to no one and Jackson runs from the halfway line and rounds the keeper.

Boro dominated since than. Cashin off with a Derby boot to the face sliding in to stop a shot.

Lots of semi-chances but weak shooting from Boro and 4 or 5 decent pushed out saves from Vickers keep it 0-1.

Derby look quite tidy on the edge of the Boro box but just not getting there enough.

Niambe on for injured Wilson and he's looked solid.

Just not getting enough ball and Collins no threat behind so Boro are too much in control.

Long 2nd half incoming.

Really entertaining first half 🙂

More football than we saw in any half last season. We have defended well and got in some great last minute blocks.

Very positive start for the new players 🙂

Will be a tough second half though.

s*** first half. Constant Buffering caused by the internet connection between router and device cutting off and joining again. Hopefully the second half will be a better performance and both my router and device will play the Sky programme smoothly and without interruption, and BTConnect will provide a good and constant internet connection. You are welcome.

I’ve been able to see 30 seconds on Sky Sports +.

Do we deserve to be 1-0 up?

A neutral would say no. They have had by far the better chances. Vickers has made some saves (most I’d expect him to) so maybe their finishing isn’t up to scratch

I'm liking our new goalkeeper 😀 Agree with most here. It's been a tough half. Middlesbrough very quick to close us down, so no time to play ball. They also pass it very neatly around the box and create openings. Fortunately they haven't been able to finish one off yet. We've done ok soaking up the pressure, but can't see us holding out like this for long. Hopefully we get a lucky second on the break...

Not sure entertaining is the word 😊

Big second half. Wouldn’t mind going to a 5 at the back soon as they’ve a ridiculously strong bench which will be effective against a tired back line. Ebou and Fozzy will hopefully come on when they make their subs to sure us up.

Midfield 3 doing better than expected if we bring in a good striker who can hold up the ball + another decent centre back I think we will be okay this season.  Midfield is main area that we have looked alot better than I anticipated against a good Boro side.

Defo need to bring subs on early 2nd half as we will tired with them having the ball alot.

Good half. Very disciplined, holding our shape. Boro with twice as much possession, but we've kept them at arms length, and have been creative on the break. Coupled with Jackson's brilliant goal.

Mostly very strong across the pitch, always trying to find our men. When you're under the cosh, that's the only way to play rather than anywhere will do clearances. Tough for us losing Cashin and Wilson to injury. We've kept them at arms length, forcing shots under pressure from outside of the box.

The positives have been Jackson and Vickers. Also Osborn looks tidy.

On the downside, I have hardly noticed Kenzo. Collins looks lacking at this level - he's trying but never quite in the right place and often loses the ball. Ozoh looks a little nervous and also negative, preferring to go backwards and Boro have twigged this. Feel Adams would be a big help in the second half at some stage, for either Kenzo or Ozoh. And Brown for Collins.

We only have one substitution window left as we’ve made two separate changes already….

Kenzonhasnt seen much of the ball but he's been tidy with it when he has had it.

Credit where it's due Vickers has had a great first half.

Would have liked him to hold the ball a bit more, he's bopping them out all over the show and it could cost us.
