1Wildsmith 7.5 Pulled off 3 outstanding saves. Incorrectly sent off by the officials.

34Rooney 7.0 looked to be set for a fine game when cruel twist of fate stepped in.

Bradley 4.5 Looked composed and then made yet another error that cost us the game.

35Nelson 7.0 Robust and solid.

3Forsyth 7.0 Strong distribution.

11Méndez-Laing 7.0 90 mins of threat and strong claim for a pen when bundled over.

12Smith 6.0 Mobile but gave a soft penalty away that was totally bought by the opposition player.

6Cashin 7.0 Robust & solid when eventually introduced.

4Hourihane 7.0 Good set pieces & penalty.

22Fornah 8.0 MOTM Fulcrum. Strong athletic good distribution.

20Elder 6.0 Off the pace.

14Washington 6.0 Not a lot of possession.

Vickers One 6.0 good save; beaten by a deflection.

10Waghorn 6.0 Linked well but no opportunity to shoot.

John-Jules 7.0 Looked threatening and direct

Collins 5.0 Fluffed a header at the death.

Lady Luck and officials clearly favouring the home side added to Derby’s initial lack of appetite cost us 3 points. Even down to 10 men, Bolton looked poor at the back. Not helped by Warne’s decision to bring on Mr Wobble rather than Cashin after Rooney’s injury. Great atmosphere and good edge but want to see more arrogance from Derby when we play.

1Wildsmith 6 - not going to mark him down for trying to rectify another player's mistake.

34Rooney 6 - hope it's not as bad as it looked.

Bradley 5 - you can have as good a rest of the game as you want but you can't keep making major blunders like he does at this level.

35Nelson 6 - was improving match by match alongside Cashin but given a new partner to get used to in a big match

3Forsyth 7.5 - just gets on with his job wherever you play him and does it well

11Méndez-Laing - 5/7 - had two good spells and a long poor one so I'll average it out to a 6

12Smith 5 - lost at sea

6Cashin 7 - I wonder who exactly has been most affected by the transfer saga, him or his manager?

4Hourihane 7 - worked really hard at the set pieces yesterday but didn't look like he believed in the system

22Fornah 5/8 -needed to be played elsewhere,  when he was, it clicked - 6.5

20Elder 5 - game passed him by, really

14Washington 5 - ditto

Vickers 6

10Waghorn 6 - wrong partner for him yesterday against those big defenders.

John-Jules 7 - a bright spark, start him or bring him on earlier

Collins 5 - nothing he tried worked.

It's really difficult to keep scoring good footballers down when you feel the major problem isn't them, it's the way the team is set up.

Warne 3

At the game.

1Wildsmith - 7.5: had a good game and "alternative" video indicates he did brilliantly on the sending-off. Just another injustice in the world of League One officiating!

34Rooney - 6: hope to see him back sooner than expected. Happened right in front of me and the look of agony appeared before he'd even hit the deck.

Bradley - 6: ouch. Really good until you-know-what. Also looked like he should have had at least one penalty.

35Nelson - 7: thought he was excellent but having watched back the winner I'm not sure why he was in the club who watched the ball into the net.

3Forsyth - 7.5: another good game from Fozzie. Solid, firm in the tackle, mostly good link up play.

11Méndez-Laing - 7: ran his socks off, albeit also ran them into touch or down dead ends a couple of times too. Couldn't have given much more. Also helped out in defence to great effect on multiple occasions.

12Smith - 6: wasn't too bad but gave the ref a reason to make a(nother wrong) decision for the penalty.

6Cashin - 6.5: didn't have long but did well when he came on.

4Hourihane - 7: took his pen well and some good set plays, and gave 100% - radar off at times though.

22Fornah - 6.5: had a much better second half than first

20Elder - 7: best game so far, looks like maybe fitness and understanding are coming along now

14Washington - 6: hard working but nothing much happened for him

Vickers - 6.5: thought he did really well except for the small issue that he made no attempt to stop the ball from looping into the net for the winner (!)

10Waghorn - 6: a quiet one today, though not for the want of trying

John-Jules - 6.5: another encouraging performance off the bench. Appears to have a very good "footballing brain" and a bit of physique to stand up to League One nonsense. Won us a few free-kicks and looked a threat.

Collins - 5.5: ah, Collo, not one of your better sub cameos. Not great hearing your own fans joining the Bolton chants of "da-da-da-da f***in' useless" but he didn't do himself many favours.

1Wildsmith 7 woeful sending of decision by Ref - neither a foul or handball

34Rooney 6 up to his injury

Bradley another bad mistake which cost us the game ultimately deserves 0 but 6 other than that mistake

35Nelson 7

3Forsyth 7

11Méndez-Laing 4 doesn’t know whether he wants a shot or a haircut - quite an unintelligent footballer.

12Smith 6 being asked to do far to much to cover for others inadequacies and mistakes

6Cashin 7 when he came on

4Hourihane 4 goal apart offers very little  - like a chocolate teapot

22Fornah 6 needs time to adjust, tired terribly, but looks like a decent prospect

20Elder 2 utter crap and I’m being generous. So off the pace, never got anywhere near anyone who he was supposed to be barking ir tackling.  His fault that cross came across for their penalty !!!

14Washington 5 little service but tried to get involved

Vickers 5 decent keeper, but I do question his positioning for their 2nd goal, even if it was deflected

10Waghorn 7 virtually no service - says everything that he was constantly in our own defence trying got help out covering

John-Jules 6 looks half decent with a trick or two. Too early to judge just yet

Collins 5 - no service but I just wish he’d stay in the middle just to put pressure on Centre Halves

Officials - utter gash !!! 2 stonewall penalties not given and needs a bloody white stick for their penalty and Whildsmiths sending off - shocking truly shocking !!!!

deflections play with your brain. You lose a split second, then it’s too late …

Anyway, we’re about to become better acquainted with him. Let’s hope he makes a better impression

Don't you think Derby will appeal Wildsmith's sending off? Looked harsh.

1Wildsmith 8 - brilliant game. Appeal incoming

34Rooney 6

Bradley 6 (+1 for being generally good, contributing to our ‘goal’ and ‘winning’ a stonewall pen. -1 for that error)

35Nelson 8 - excellent

3Forsyth 8 - excellent

11Méndez-Laing  6.5

12Smith  5.5 - not tight enough on several occasions

6Cashin 6.5

4Hourihane  6.5

22Fornah  6 - not sure where MOTMs are coming from

20Elder 5 - not seeing anything from him yet

14Washington 5

Vickers  6

10Waghorn  6

John-Jules  6.5

Collins. 6.5 - their defenders finally had something to think about when he came on.

Strange game. Ref awful. Derby only just marginally better than ref but did really well to be still in the game in 98th min.

RD moaning about lack of effort. Not having that at all.

When we get the ball down and play we’re half decent……so why don’t we?
