I wish to counter this nonsense by announcing that VdM junior was despatched to the local (ie in the south) chippy this evening.

He brought me back a decent portion of chips for the sum of 1 of our pounds.

So the South is not a land of feckless dastardly robbers. That's Londo

 

Ps London is not the South @David. You've only narrowly avoided causing grievous offence.

It's London. We don't identify with it any more than you do.

It's 80 miles from where I live. Oxford is 65 and that's the Midlands according to the road signs on the M27.

Plus it's full of dreadful spivs who'd sell your grandma if you left her unattended.
