Rich3478
Alfie May seems such a relatively risk free gamble. I know we’re not spending huge money still but £200k and minimal wages seems worth it Ram1988
Carnero
Of all the players suggested, Sam Nombe ticks the most boxes for what would be the ideal signing. Not sure what sort of fee Exeter would be expecting though, I guess any reasonable offer would have to wait until Knight is sold. Ghost of Clough
A couple of cheap loan options: Nathan Young-Coombes (Brentford) - 20 year old winger (can play at CF) who scored 3 and assisted 3 in 11 games (392 minutes) on loan at AFC Wimbledon before picking up an injury and being recalled. Scott Banks (Crystal Palace) - 21 year old winger (can play AM) who scored 6 and assisted 5 in 31 league games (2004 minutes) at Bradford.

RamsFan10
Benik Afobe? 30-years-old and just released from a team in the UAE (albeit second tier) after scoring 9 in 17. According to Twitter, Arsenal are letting him train at their facilities (where he came through as a kid I believe) which leads me to believe he could be angling for a move back in the UK Forgive me if I've missed something with regards to him moving elsewhere but reckon it could be one we have/are looking at. Seem to remember him never really getting a full season under his belt but being a real goalscorer with a run of games. 12 in 38 games in his last full championship season, 2021/22 at Millwall. Ambitious
Going by the ‘older goalscorer’ comment, considering those players out of contract and fit that profile: Lyle Taylor, Troy Deeney and Martyn Waghorn are three names that seem most likely to me. RamsFan10
Luke Jephcott could turn out to be a shrewd signing up top. 23-year-old just released off Plymouth's books. Scored 16 and then 10 in his first two full seasons for them (not always a regular starter), was even linked to Championship clubs apparently but ended up on loan at Swindon last year (not sure why, if I'm missing something please let me know). Young, free and has scored goals at this level before.

I could be very wrong, but him suggesting we are close to a striker who seven other clubs are after strikes me as a free agent, along with the comment about an ‘older goal scorer’ when creating a needless caveat to the profile of player he’s after (22-32). It just seems very coincidental to me.

TomTom92
Just seen the weakest of weak rumours on twitter that we’re in talks with Forest to loan Dale Taylor. He spent January onwards at Burton and seemed to impress. Only 19 so a bit young for what Warne was saying but I wouldn’t be against it. I remember the Burton commentator talking about how well built he was for his age. Carnero
