Warne recruited for 3 at the back, with Ward and Wilson being his 2 RWBs and Nelson was signed to be first choice RCB.

He also signed Bradley to be CCB and how has that worked out, we also don't have specialist RB at the club. As for wages , I'd imagine £4k a week is higher than Universal Credit. DCFC1388
I see no reason why Ward cant be first choice RB, he has been decent defensively as well as offering an attacking threat. Yes he came in as a RWB but he can play RB too.

Carnero
It's a pity we didn't sign a right sided centre back who's equally as comfortable playing at right back, which means the squad would be just as well set up to play a flat back 4, as well as a 3/5. Regan Poole would have fit the bill perfectly, 25 years old and available on a free. It's a shame he signed for Pompey and not us, not that he was linked I don't think, but if he wasn't a prime transfer target of ours than you really have to wonder why. With what we have now, then we should just go back to Smith at right back for now, if nothing else at least it breaks up the Smith+Hourihane combination in midfield which just doesn't work. angieram

Id prefer to see him & judge him there myself rather than take other clubs fans words for it.
RamFan13
Andre Gray available, but doubt he’d drop to league 1 and wages would be a problem 😐
