I don’t even feel particularly angry about this any more - the time for that was 5 games ago. I think the overwhelming feeling I have now is sadness... how far this club has fallen in the last 18 or so months, from everyone’s second team to a team seemingly universally disliked. To be honest I’m conflicted - I love this club, but the current crop, from the player to the management to the ownership is rapidly turning me.

So where do we go from here? Based on the current trajectory, League One. And look at the likes of Sunderland - you can easily get stuck there. I don’t know the answer and the scary thing is the people paid handsomely to know the answer don’t know it either.

Marshall - decent gain

bryne - ok going forward defensively poor

wisdom - ok I suppose

Clarke - he will never be better than ok

Buchanan- not involve much

knight - excellent compared to the others

bird - we need more adventurous players currently

Rooney - not great but not the worse either - would be a better sub

jozwiak - lightweight- needs to buck up

waghorn - not involved at all

Lawrence - words are not enough how does he start every time

subs - Richards - nothing

sibley - better - he misses not having a centre forward to feed off

Whittaker - better than some

Holmes - I do not know how he gets selected - contributes nothing positive consistently  - I would rather play someone from the Under 23s

we need a manager - obvious

But probably didn't happen or rather we didn't know it did but let's not let that bother us.

What about the last five games under rosenior and Rooney?

Get that pair out, this is above their pay grade.

It did happen (Mac in the dressing room). Owen Bradley confirmed it at half time.

“We’re hurting”

”the players are all really disappointed in there”

“We’ll work really hard on the training field to put the right”

“we dust ourselves down and go again”

take your pick, it’ll just be Rosenior staring wide eyed into the camera again looking like he’s about to cry

rabbits in headlights, all of them

The management committee can take all their sound bites and stick them up their Ashby-de-la Zouch!
