If it was about shirt sales, Niall Horan probably sells more than Wayne. Get him on instead.

we are heading in one direction

Mate, give up.

Maybe he isnt ready? Have you watched the games tonight, or the games Sibley played in post lockdown?

He isnt God, but he is good.

Whereas Rooney isnt good, he is God awful.

Yes .. yes we all agree Rooney is a liability ... that’s obvious to anyone with a pair of eyes

but chucking in the kids isn’t the golden answer that everyone seems to think

I agree they’ll buzz around and do their best but weve enough young wet behind the ears kids out there and today’s game was a reflection of that

the kids, bird, Buchanan, Knight were probably among the better performers

but that’s in a side that have been put to bed and kissed goodnight by a smack bang average boro side that emphasised it was men against boys and few grossly overrated and over paid established professionals

We need organising by a manager who knows what their doing ... hopefully grab a few points so we’re not cut adrift and then hopefully somehow get some bodies in that can make a difference in January

Basically rosenior and Rooney thought they could takeover and turn it round by making the players smile abit more in training for the social media and rams tv cameras. But they have shown in two games they are not ready to manage - certainly not together. Got to get a new manager in before the weekend so we can at least go at Coventry with some basic preparation next week.

The only players you can hear on the pitch were the Middlesbrough players. No one in our squad is holding each other accountable. You can tell Cocu wanted to fix this by bring in CKR and other vocal players but he didn't have the backing. We need some menace and vocals into this squad to hold players accountable. Tell them on the pitch they're not pulling their weight, at this point I want to see some punches thrown.

The most vocal player and true leader is Curtis Davies.

But probably didn't happen or rather we didn't know it did but let's not let that bother us.

What about the last five games under rosenior and Rooney?

Get that pair out, this is above their pay grade.

Owen Bradley said McClaren had gone into the dressing room at half time.

Anyway, we don't know whether he made any contribution to the tactical changes, just like we don't know what contribution Rosenior made under Cocu, yet people were still happy to judge.

Five games under Rosenior and Rooney? We've seen two.

It's been crap. But not particularly worse than what we've seen before this season.

I agree that we need a manager though. This experiment should never have happened.

The day Wayne Rooney leaves this football club will be glorious. The man is a disgrace out on that pitch. Sack him, sack Rosenior, and sack every other coach involved with this sorry mess. That was an absolute shambles out there tonight. Frankly I’d back most of this forum to do a better job. No organisation, no game plan, baffling subsitutions... the list goes on.

We’re going to need a miracle worker to save us from relegation now. Our current squad is playing worse than the local pub team. No quality at all. With the way we’ve been run, we deserve relegation frankly, and that’s exactly what we’re going to get.

We won’t go down because of the takeover, a new manager and the January window. We’re rudderless canon folder at the moment though, it’s tough being a Rams fan right now....but keep the faith.

It's gone eerily quiet on the takeover, we have no idea who our next manager is going to be and January seems a very long way off at the moment!

What if we're 12 points adrift and have a minus 30 goal difference by January?

Will we still turn it around then? Because honestly, it's not beyond the realms of possibility.

The shot to Rosenior slouching and sulking on the bench instead of standing yelling and shouting to the last second said it all. Tonight is the first night I really think we are going down. At least Cambridge will be local as they're doing well. On the upside for whoever comes in surely they'll look good if we score a goal

Absolutely disgraceful in game management 2nd half changing the system when we genuinely looked like getting back into the game.

1st half was awful & Rooney was hopeless in midfield. To be fair to him, I thought 1st 10 minutes of the 2nd half he gave us someone to play into and we looked a better side with him up front. We should have got back in the game through Sibley (who made a massive difference), however for some reason decide to change to a back 3 with Bird at the back??? All over the place after that and could have been more! Management staff whoever is making these decisions is responsible for that.
