RoyMac5
Quote When you've waited 22 years, what's four or five seconds?' Goalkeeper Marshall revealed the referee told him not to celebrate saving the spot-kick that sent Scotland to the Euros because there would be a video assistant referee check. But, after an agonising few seconds, he was finally given the all clear. He said: "I just hoped and prayed that it didn't go to a retake because the lads were already on their way. They didn't know it was being checked probably. "When you've waited 22 years what's another four or five seconds? "It's almost a numb feeling, it's been so long. It's just a massive emotional feeling. Ryan Christie was in tears and it just shows how much it means to the lads to get there. "Had we lost it it would have been gut-wrenching, but if you're going to do it that's the best way to do it. The lads scoring 10 out of 10 penalties under that amount of pressure is just incredible." https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/54926809

Rab a dab doo
This guy's a great shot stopping goalie. It's when we ask him to do things that are not natural to him like playing it back and forth with jittery defenders at back that he looks uncomfortable. Could prove to be Cocu's best signing. DarkFruitsRam7
1) This gives me flashbacks to the post-Leeds celebrations under Lampard. Hope we don't get the same standard of subsequent performance. 2) We need to sing this song as soon as we're allowed back into the ground.

His shot stopping was nowhere near and his all round game was poor.
CWC1983
I don't think he came for 1 cross last night. He expects defenders to kick, head, block anything that comes into the box and it worked for 99% of the time last night. To do that, the defence needs to be organised and having a settled back 3 or 5 helps. I'm not sure Derby know their best defender's or defensive system yet. 1967Ram
Happy for him. He's played well for us this season. It's a shame that he's made two very costly mistakes though (Luton and Barnsley).
Phoenix
I notice from that clip that he didn't celebrate immediately. Seemed to be checking it was legit.

Brammie Steve
The Scottish (soldier) Hero We’ve got a hero, a Scottish hero In goal for Derby now He’ll show the others how He’ll stop you scoring He gets us roaring And sows those green shoots of victory! Because those green shoots are not idle dreams Though misfortune seems To thwart all our schemes Our Scottish hero will always lift his game David Marshall that’s our goalie’s name! I think his team mates might have insisted last thursday. No idea if he's much for a drinker or not but pulling of that save from mitrobitch was very special if you have any feeling at all towards Scotland.
