You could not make it up. That sums things up for the man. Unbelievably unlucky.
RadioactiveWaste
I don't think this was the intention of the meeting with the board. "Phillip, Steven's going to cough on you now" "Meeting adjourned, we'll pick this up in two weeks"
Ram-a-lama fa fa fa
nice timing phil. so if we lose saturday itll be very harsh to sack a manager who isnt there!
SouthernRam
Is this just a way of giving Rooney a quick test spin at the wheel while Uncle Phil is wheeled out the back door?
Gritstone Ram
Chances are we’ll win on Saturday now, play a blinder and then he’ll get the sack. Happy days

They have 2 tests a week as routine. So they just carry on their usual activities between them. I’m assuming they had the tests 2 days ago and got the results today. Imagain the harm to football that could be prevented if the EFL executive all self isolate for 2 weeks?

The agent that Pearce would have to negotiate with on a manager's contract? And doesn't 2+2=73 ?

Surely Stephen Pearce was in attendance!

In the EFL, you only test players on return from international duty, not the twice a week standard the Prem has. Nothing to stop us doing more tests, but it would be at our own expense.
