I've said it before and I'll say it again but Bird and Sibley are (wrongfully) paying the price for the first 3 games and the tactical changes to "be more competitive". jcidaho Posted November 7, 2020 Share Posted November 7, 2020 Would much prefer Whitaker on the bench rather than Holmes who is out of form. Whitaker offers some pace and ability to run at players. He's not perfect and can lose the ball, but at least he injects some mayhem into the opposition, as opposed to controlled Dutch boringness. He could have to come on after 5 minutes. People always say that, but if there’s doubts they are nearly always put on the bench. Im not saying that’s right, and I’d play him, but considering they thought he would be out for weeks at first.
