No corner flag, no party!

Don’t know why, just have slight feeling of foreboding about this. Will go one of two ways -

Sheikh Mansour Mk 2

or

Fawaz Al-Hasawi Mk 2

Please, please, please be the former ??

....Yet the BBC has not mentioned the takeover once during the past few days, even today in an article confirming the self isolations. Strange ?

Maybe they are more content to revel in our misfortune.

Reference the last paragraph of the article which points out we are second from bottom and only have one win in ten which is in fact totally tangential to the article itself.

How many ways are there to spell this guys name? The official site is different from other stories!

It's an Arabic name so if it were spelt correctly most of us wouldn't understand it! Translations will always vary a little....

We understand Sheikh Khaled is in fact no relation to Man City owner Sheikh Mansour.
There was a suggestion yesterday that Khaled was the half-brother of Mansour.
Important to point out this doesn’t mean Khaled doesn’t have the money to buy NUFC, but as yet no proof of funds.

that’s from Sky back in 2019

You need to go to The Scum for your headlines, they're all over it (not!). Apparently we're owned by Mike Ashley.....

Big difference between Fawaz being interested and it being a realistic outcome. Can you really imagine Mel selling to him? Never even a possibility.

To be fair, Fawaz is leading our guy 1-0 in successful takeovers (I mean successful in actually doing it, not results wise)

Have to admit I’m slightly more worried by this than others seem to be.....

Yep we don’t know the financing arrangements, he could be a bottomless pit of money or he could be fairly small fry in the grand scheme of these things.

I’m sure that Mel wouldn’t just hand us over to old shyster, despite the need to get out!

im not worried. more a nervous excitement to be honest. dont think we’ll have money to burn like some suggest. but the money we do have, the manager (whoever that is) and the scouting team need to get the signings right
