All 50/50 decisions being given in their favour by the ref João has killed us, if we'd won the ball and been able to give it to a player like him this would have played out quite differently. Just pass the ball sideways and backwards, never take a risk and go forward. Don't press, just let them pass it between their back four. It's ducking boring. Reading haven't looked good, we've just been gash. Play with some ducking tempo, go press the ball, show some desire to get the ball forward, take risks in possession, and stop being pussies. How can this style of play work unless we have Messi who can do it all alone? Even with better attackers, it wouldn't fix this lack of desire to go forward.
