Stuniverse
A Derby County U23/U18 team beat Barnsley U23s 2-1 today. None of the youngsters who played against Peterborough United played, although Scott Malone did. Shuff264
A mixture of members of Derby County’s Under-23s and Under-18s, including a handful of trialists, faced Kidderminster Harriers in a behind-closed-doors friendly at Moor Farm on Tuesday evening. The Rams ran out 7-1 winners on a wet and windy Derbyshire evening. https://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/2020/08/under-23-highlights-Derby-county-7-1-kidderminster-harriers

Animal is a Ram
Hell of a finish from the no3 - couldn't identify him? Forget how massive Cybulski is too. Head and shoulders above some of the first team, I'd bet.
Black ('n' White) Sheep
I know it was only Kidderminster... but duck me, our Academy lads play some good football! Tyree Wilson (number 10) is going to be one hell of a player. It's rare to see close control and vision like that at this stage in a footballer's career. There are some good young lads in there. The scorer of the last goal looks about 9.
Ghost of Clough
I think #3 is a Trialist L Thompson is #4 Matthews scored the last goal. A second year scholar who's 17, 18 later in the year. Wilson's getting used to that AM role since Archie claimed LW as his own. Needs to develop a lot physically if he's to have a good run in the first team.

It's really difficult to keep up with the academy stuff when you can't get to games and see them for yourself. I do think we could get back to seeing Academy matches without too much hassle over social distancing (though of course more fans might attend when they can't see the first team.) I do miss them.
