"It is regrettable that clubs who had no involvement in these proceedings ultimately have to pick up the bill for the EFL’s legal costs, and that those clubs who strongly encouraged the EFL to bring proceedings against Derby ought to ask themselves whether they think that outcome is fair."

What the club mean is that all of you who have got to pay £50,000 for legal costs, you can thank Gobson for forcing the EFL to continue with the fruitless case.

There will be one hell of meltdown if we decide to sue for damages for malicious prosecution.

The cheeky fooker that the EFL got in as stadium valuer!

174) Each of the experts expressed views on the ‘quality’ of Pride Park and the facilities provided.

However, while Mr Honeywill of LSH had inspected Pride Park for the purpose of these proceedings, Mr Messenger of WHE had not: a) He had inspected Pride Park ‘a number of years ago’ for an entirely different purpose b) A colleague at WHE had inspected Pride Park in September 2019... In those circumstances we preferred Mr Honeywill’s assessment of the quality of Pride Park to Mr Messenger’s view that Pride Park is ‘bog standard’; that in our view is too dismissive of Pride Park. We accept that its facilities are ‘almost at Premier League standard’.

It makes it even funnier that he’s done them over.

Can imagine the useless ricks sulking back off to their HQ afterwards and lining up for a go at their Mel Morris dartboard.

The EFL didn’t want any of the findings to be published. We can see why now.
