I said just before kick off against United that Rooney would have been livid with that team news.

In a week where he says he struggles to curb his temper, maybe he over stepped the mark.

Please get a grip

Rested is another, playing every game was bound to catch up with him sooner or later and nothing has been mentioned about a knock.

You’d expect him to be on the bench in that case though? Weirdly the club website only suggests the Lawrence one was enforced due to injury, but that may be poor wording.

You are ridiculous.

When Rooney signed he said he very rarely gets injured.

Not a chance he is being rested in such a big game.

In a season where we have had car crashes, captains careers ending, Frank leaving, EFL charges, how on earth can the thought of a player and manager falling out be deemed 'ridiculous'?

Can only presume Rooney is injured, that’s a massive blow. Rest of the lineup seems fair enough to me, and is probably as strong as we could out out in the circumstances

Stepped off the Team bus all wrapped up. Looked ill. #CoronaRooneyisFcuked.

Sith Happens

Apparently Rooney isn't playing because he is absent,  he was last spotted riding shergar with Lord lucan over a grassy knoll in dallas.

Lord Lucan is a bit younger than some of his previous conquests
