This is all you need to know. The difference in 'punishment' is purely down to money, not ethics.

theres nothing like  taking something out of context.MM was explaining how a player coulddeliberately get himself sacked so he could go play for another team

Keogh was well within his rights to refuse to take a pay cut as per any other ordinarily employed worker.

Whether Derby were within their rights to then sack Keogh is something that remains to be seen.

it doesnt remain to be seen they have sacked him. Theres 79 pages in this forum proving it.Is there anyway back not on your life

They didn't sack him because he wouldn't agree to a new contract. They sacked him for gross misconduct.

Also says

"So it's not as simple as people think when they think about these issues. And I actually think, in the case of two of the lads, they have to come out and face our crowd every game now and the only way they can improve on this is on the field, that's all they can do."

Suggesting he thinks the reception they receive (and will continue to) at games and around Derby itself will be partly punishment as well - And that by playing games and doing well for the club they can serve some kind of penance

I think people keep acting like Keogh's injury is his punishment - It's not - Him getting the injury stupidly is what we're punishing him for (in part)

Lawrence wouldn’t be without a club long as he’s a top player.

Bennett the same .

Correction for you

Lawrence wouldn’t be without a club for long because he is an average championship player with an agent.

Bennett wouldn’t be without a club for long because he has an agent and is an average division 3 player.

Average.

Better than Gary Micklewhite or Gordon Hughes.

Bet that’s stumped you.

PS The Championship is a good league despite what Ramage thinks.

Better standard than the players if yesteryears
