Swansea work a good driven cross from the left which is punched out well by Roos.

Swansea come back a couple of times in the seconds after but dont make it back into the penalty area. It eventually rolls out for a goal kick.

Twan Scheepers goes out onto the pitch to keep Waghorn's spirits up.

Outside of the penalty, no real chances for either side that half.

Interesting penalty trivia:

100% penalty record under Lampard, including shootouts. We've just missed the first penalty we've had since he left ?

Lawrence’s foot is a bit worrying, feel like he’s had this problem for a while now.

Felt it v Huddersfield, saw him holding it in the warm up and trying different boots and looked to be causing him issues again during the game.

Could just be bad bruising that's a bit swollen ?

Crowd needs to settle down a bit. It ain’t helping shouting to get it forward all the time- creates panic. We’ve been pretty good on the whole, fans just need to be patient, we’re playing the possession game well and have been the better side- we really should be in front.

The reason we’re not is we’ve been incredibly wasteful. Not just the pen which you’ve gotta score, but also other chances where poor decision making/ touches have let us down. Feel our lack of creativity from wide and midfield that we failed to address in the window is being exposed too, we don’t look to have much up our sleeve in and around the box. Evans and huddlestone really doesn’t work and restricts us going forward, Bogle has once again done his and Josefzoon a job as well while the latter may as well be having a cuppa.

Need to be a lot more careful and alert across the pitch too, we’ve seemed half asleep and lax at times in defence Where stupid touches/mistake have put us in trouble. Need to cut that out as we’ve been the better side here and need to get all three points, not hand them the game by us being wasteful in the final third and making stupid mistakes at the back.
