SaintRam
Fulham seem to be taking an odd strategy of strengthening their strengths rather than their weaknesses.

Really dodgy at the back, so they go buy a striker. Odd.

Christ - he's the only one who looked a threat for them. Gonna be a long season if they aren't bringing anyone else in.
nottingram
It’s a good job we won on Monday. Would’ve been very annoying if we were the only club who had to play against probably the best CM in the division all season.

If not let him go on a permanent for a decent fee. Think they’ve done well getting him to sign it to be honest, must be a mutual respect between them both. SaintRam
Its also possible that the deal only started being worked on quite late, and they didn't think they'd have time to hammer out a permanent agreement. So went for a loan and as you say, the contract is simply to stop him moving for free at the end of the season.
Bubbles
I think Reading, QPR and Wigan are all going to challenge for top 6 this year, each team has strengthened a lot, This is going to be even more competitive than last year.

Perhaps, but we’re challenging for top 2 this year, so I don’t really care about the mini league from 5th to 8th, it shouldn’t concern us.
