Fulham seem to be taking an odd strategy of strengthening their strengths rather than their weaknesses.

Really dodgy at the back, so they go buy a striker. Odd.

Huddersfield seem to be about to get much weaker; Mooy's off to Brighton.

Christ - he's the only one who looked a threat for them. Gonna be a long season if they aren't bringing anyone else in.

Reading getting lucas joao for 7 mill

Where did they get the money from?

To think they could’ve had rooney for the same money.

Mooy signs a 3 year deal at Huddersfield then goes on loan to Brighton

Looks like a we won’t hold you back playing Premier League football, but sign a new deal so we don’t lose you on a free in the summer.

So why not just sell him now?

Hoping they go back up this season maybe? If not let him go on a permanent for a decent fee.

Think they’ve done well getting him to sign it to be honest, must be a mutual respect between them both.

Its also possible that the deal only started being worked on quite late, and they didn't think they'd have time to hammer out a permanent agreement. So went for a loan and as you say, the contract is simply to stop him moving for free at the end of the season.

I think Reading, QPR and Wigan are all going to challenge for top 6 this year, each team has strengthened a lot, This is going to be even more competitive than last year.

Perhaps, but we’re challenging for top 2 this year, so I don’t really care about the mini league from 5th to 8th, it shouldn’t concern us.
