They will be waiting a long time

"So Frank, a 2-1 win against Huddersfield on your first game of the season, what are your thoughts?"

"Don't care, don't wanna be here, wish we lost"

Run out of time to sign Cocu. The twitter rumour that has popped up (by some guy who's come out of nowhere) is that Chelsea are holding up the contract so we're pressured by Cocu threatening to bail so we sack Lampard. Meaning Chelsea don't have to pay us any compensation.

And why is there a finite time to sign Cocu? Even if there is we either keep Lampard or we find another manager. Complete nonsense that we would sack Frank.

There's no reason at all why we couldn't give Cocu a temporary contract as an in-house consultant until this is sorted. He could start work.

I am sure Mel will have covered this eventuality with the Dutch Meester. He (and his team) will have been paid a retaining fee from Signing to starting pretty much as players sign a pre contract agreement.

Also i would have thought that one of the conditions of allowing Frank to speak to Chelsea would be some sort of  agreement on the Comp before allowing Frank to speak to Chelsea.

Where do people think this stuff up from?

Bet he's already started work (analysing current squad strengths and weaknesses and probably already looking at ideal signings).

On for the rangers thread, but rangers fans are so British that their favourite part of britishness is the bit where the ge Dutch take over the country without even a fight being put up (you know, because Celtic...)

Shall we arrange for a bunch of fat ruddy men in orange sashes playing drums and pipes to follow the team coach into Ibrox?

He's got some of Mels drone flying over Moor Farm and sending the feed to his hotel room!
