You can’t help thinking that we need to keep an eye on the energy levels later on in this game. As a team we look fitter this season but all these hard games over the last week (and with so little rest/recovery after WBA) has got to catch up with the players. Whilst we normally finish games strongly normally you can perhaps expect that not to be the case today.

Good first half but we seemed to lose focus after Carson fluffed that back pass.

Half time has come at the right time Lamps can get then sat down and refocussed. I do wonder if this is a game for Bradley in the 2nd half, get in their faces and break up their play.

Needed half-time by the end.

Obviously started really well but slowed down a bit towards the end of the half. Boro still a tough, physical team who will defend well so we’re not gonna be able to walk over them all game.

Need to re-organise at half-time, get through whatever they throw at us for the first ten minutes then start pressing, playing our own game again. Hopefully going be able to catch them on the break more this half.

We’re clearly the better team for the third game in a row, which I didn’t think was on the cards at all a week ago.

Top of the league for a couple of hours.

Agreed. In truth it was the Carson error which seemed to get them going and believing. It woke the crowd up a tiny bit too.

Carson has, overall, been immense again this season and he’s made plenty of gd saves. But there’s also been a few errors over the last few games- most of which haven’t thankfully cost us.

Mount's been buzzing so far this game. Haven't seen that in a couple of games so hopefully he'll grab one in the second half.

Absolutely - he's stepped up his level to what he was showing earlier. Doesn't want to be rested for Chelsea!

We were more on the back foot towards the end of the half, but still had chances. We need to be clinical when the next ones arrive. After two great efforts from distance, it was a shame Wilson missed from 4 yards under no pressure. Am expecting Josefzoon and Nugent to come on at the hour mark to keep up the high press.

Nervous listening talk sport on way to Gatwick, but at least not Ed Dawes in panic mode.

Now reliant on this message board, so nobody get hysterical please!

Sounded like Wilson should have at least doubled lead in first half.

 Biting nails now.

He’ll go onto score 3 now but Waghorn on the right is infuriating, gets out wide and just cuts back and lays it back killing all attacks dead.

Good performance thus far, always nervous away at Boro though (bar last season). Hopefully we get another on the counter and see it out. COYR.
