It's not rubbish at all. Why ditch the formation you've been working on through all of preseason because of one defeat? Tonight was a decent opportunity to get more accustomed with it, if anything.

Not sure you want to play 4-3-3 with two fullbacks quite so averse to defending as Bogle and Malone (based on reports of his previous club's fans)

It's nice to see FL isn't so rigid, horses for courses, it's all a learning curve, and we're winning 2-0, enjoy each game for what it is, systems change

Because Frank wants to play with two attacking full backs. With only one DM we’re left exposed on the counter. frank identified this as a key problem and has opted for an extra DM instead of more defensive full back(s).

One thing I have taken from this RD coverage is they've been waxing lyrical about Tomori all game.

Whoever was doing the livefeed appears to have died, so I guess that's that.

Waghorn has hit the post since the last update. Probably going to finish 0-2.

And if he didnt make a change to have a look at a different formation & persisted with something that isnt working he would be slated for being tactically naive - good decision to try something different

Full backs over philosophy,  then?

How about just don't play two attacking full backs?

Whether your officially calling it a 433 or a 4231 it doesn’t really matter to me, but having 2 more defensively sound/strong CMs and leaving Mount more freedom to get forward is the way to go. Get the best out of Mount and stay pretty solid in midfield.

How did Wilson play?

Absolutely no idea.

I believe Ramage described his performance as "better", which is a pretty large section of the scale.
