80: Oldham hit the bar! The home team have had some chances.

Tell you what, I wasn't expecting to have to correct quite this much grammar.

BBC app says the first goal was an O.G?

That does seem to be the initial ruling. Maybe he'll claim it and the goals commission will give it to Tomori. No good angles of the goal really.

82: Bird steals the ball back from the Latics and plays it through to Marriott but there is too much strength on it.

82: Lampard makes his final substitution. Waghorn comes in for Marriott

Jozefzoon had a goal disallowed (for a foul by Waghorn) a couple of minutes ago but the livefeed has yet to inform me of it.

EDIT: Ah here it is -

84: Bennett crosses in to Waghorn, it slips past Waghorn to Jozefzoon who fires high into the net but it's disallowed. Ref spots a foul in the area.

Shame for Forest who are losing to Bury. It will be an embarrasing call to the coach company to cancel the League Cup winners parade they had booked.

This competition is surely of no consequence to the slayers of the mighty malmo. As if playing them in the final wasn't flucky enough-

Unfortunately, with two of their best players – midfielder Bo Larsson and defender Roy Andersson – already ruled out with injury and with their captain and key midfielder – Staffan Tapper – breaking his toe in training on the eve of the final, Malmö FF resorted to the same defensive tactics that Belgian team Club Bruges had used at Wembley in the final twelve months earlier. With neither of the finalists being one of Europe’s major clubs, Munich’s Olympiastadion was far from full for the Final, and the game itself was something of an anti-climax.

Lucky and poo crowds . An intoxicating mix .

It's not rubbish at all. Why ditch the formation you've been working on through all of preseason because of one defeat? Tonight was a decent opportunity to get more accustomed with it, if anything.
