I would imagine a oot of prem youth players are rraining with first teams purely because so many first teams players have been or still are at the world cup and will habe a couple of weeks rest after the tournament so numbers need to be made up in training

Chelsea fans seem to think that he’s staying now as Sarri apparently wants to use the younger Chelsea players like Mount for Europa league games. He’s Sarri’s sort of midfielder, who likes ‘all round’ midfielders. Makes sense that he stays if he has aspirations for Euro 2020 with England.

Sky website has an article on young players who could make the breakthrough to the England team - Mount one of the 5 discussed and it state's that he's likely to take the next step of his development on loan at "Frank Lampard's Derby County" (as we're now officially known)

Similar talk on Talksport.......... his potential and need to get away from Chelsea to develop and his interest in a loan to us/lampard.

If indeed Chelsea's new manager looks after the young talent it will be a major change in direction. Maybe the owner is tightening the purse and inner resources will need to be used??

Would you say he is more of a 10, or box to box?

He's a 10. He technically lined up as a LCM in a 4-3-3 last season, but in practice he was really a 10.
