I'd love it if he got the job and was successful, really love it! (say it in a Keegan style). It's a risk I grant you but any appointment is a gamble.

In my opinion Mel has made some good appointments in the past, ones which 'fit' with the style of football we were currently playing. The problem has been not giving those managers sufficient time to do the job IMO. He has also made some poor appointments too. 

Let's hope, whoever we appoint, we play more good football next season.
