Sexydadbod
He's going to be a bigger loss than some are making out. Jerome is lacking match sharpness having not played much this season and Nugent is out of form and has severely declined since last season. I'd be looking for a free agent striker, if anything to give Nuge and Jerome a breather. Bournemouth got Kenyne Jones a few years ago and it saw them through as they could rest their players. Sexydadbod
Also a very good gesture by the fans to sing Winnall's name. His loved ones would have appreciated that because he was an important player. He will be looking down with a smile on his face and hopefully inpsire us for the rest of the season. In the very unlikely event Winnall was truly at Derby Station in a knee brace it can't possibly be because of a serious injury. If that were the case he'd be somewhere being looked after by the best surgeons in the world, and chauffered between hospitals. Yes he took a knock and it didn't look good so there's a chance he'll miss the Norwich game, but he'll be back for Leeds (obviously can't play against the Wendies anyway). Hilarious ? Correct. Forum ? Ummmm...... Carl Sagan ? ........errr........

I could be wrong but still don’t believe he was at the train station. The lad praised the derby team, manager and owner regarding his treatment, post injury. I doubt he would have done so if we made him get the train home. Pure speculation but maybe the info came from a derby employee, who used the train station encounter as a cover to break the story and keep anonymity
BobbyD
Think you have mis-interpreted my post Doodle Carl had made himself look a bit daft You might say he would be used to this by now, and you would be right... I stand by the idea that it's bizarre to think Winnall is hobbling round Derby Station in a knee brace if he's had an ACL op. Why wouldn't he pay for someone to drive him so he can look after his leg properly? Crazy. I put in the Martin thread several times that if only he would stay until the window closed, his chance would come. Shame it didn't happen. We make do with what we have and hope it binds us together to make us stronger.

I know little that ain’t common knowledge, but I do know that we send our players down to a specialist in London who deals with serious injuries like an ACL when they happen. That’ll be where he was you going a wager, and I doubt he was alone.
