Rowett interview makes it clear why he signs certain players...

 A lot of experience

 Already had promotion from Championship

 Very hard working

Attitude as important as skill level!!!!!!

Fits in to existing plan and squad

Brings something different to what is already here

Ideally he has managed the player before and knows him well.

Very difficult to go wrong with such an approach, also ...

No hype

No public criticism of players,

Squad emphasis

If we played badly, seems to see himself as part of the problem

Asks the players what they thought went wrong

Comes to agreement with the players how to fix the problem

Has no qualms about substituting players or dropping them or leaving them out of the squad.

Comes across as a normal hard working person, doing his best

Including players on loan, is this Derby County's first £50 suad outside the Premiership.

Man Utd have purportedly signed up for £180 to get Sanchez on board for four and a half years.

Championship now attracts bigger audiences than Spain, Germany or Italy apparently.

Time for Premier League 2?

Weekend Fixtures, and my thoughts.

Wolves play home to our neighbours, so Imagine Wolves will win.

Villa home to Barnsley, Villa should win.

Leeds home to Millwall who are still without an away win this season(I think), and I cannot see any change here.

Cardiff away to Sheff Weds, could be a draw here.

Sheff Utd away to Norwich, Norwich might sneak a win.

Fulham home to Burton, most likely a home win.

Middlesbrough away to QPR, possibly a draw at best for QPR.

On paper all of rivals for the top 6 have reasonably easy games with the exception of Cardiff and Sheff U.(IMO)

Its becoming a cliché but there are literally no easy games in the Championship.

Lots of twist and turns yet! Long 18 games to go! All 8 teams will drop points when they aren't expected too

When I fail to see Forest quoted in this thread :( wub

Im afraid the next time you’ll be in the promotion mix will be when you’re playing Yeovil in another league 1 semi final.

And then you won’t be considered rivals, you might have to start going on the Burton forum for that.
