Whilst he was never my favourite Bond, he was still Bond, and a good one at that.  Besides, any man who can pull off a safari suit should always be given the utmost respect. #RIP

Don't give @David ideas he will be ordering one from ASOS.

Roger Moore was a gentleman and a fine actor,RIP

Lest we forget the finest ending to any Bond film ever. The end of Moonraker when he's getting jiggy with Holly Goodhead in the space capsule and he turns off the comms link...

What on earth is Bond doing??

I think he's attempting re-entry sir!

RIP you eyebrow raising legend

RIP Sir Roger George Moore KBE

He had a great command of language off screen as well as on.

It's wonderful to travel with somebody that you love and we never travel anywhere without one another.

Sean played Bond as a killer - I played him as a lover

I enjoy being a highly overpaid actor.

Of course I do my own stunts. And I also do my own lying

My acting range has always been something between the two extremes of “raises left eyebrow” and “raises right eyebrow"
