RamNut
I'd say that there is a deeper underlying problem. Boozer. Depression. Etc could have been a bit inappropriate and unhelpful to go public either that or.... maybe.... His gates were stuck?
Rev
A mate at work once texted the gaffer, on a Saturday, to say he wouldn't be in Monday due to a hangover from a Sunday BBQ. He came back to work on the Thursday!

Animal is a Ram
If that's his attitude to not being in the squad, no ta. I'll back Schteve and Ross to turn it around though, if he does come here, until proven otherwise.
MackworthRamIsGod
I'd be happy with one of two scenarios: 1. We sign him. 2. Fulham sign him and send Martin back to us.

You'd have to think it was a case of either McCormack or Martin, rather than McCormack and Martin?
jagerbob
Even Fulham know, Martin is likely to return to Derby at the end of the season. Their manager has come out and said that Derby have offered him a longer contract and a greater weekly wage, than Fulham had agreed when they took him on loan with a few to triggering the permanent transfer. So does that answer the above question?

JuanFloEvraTheCocu'sNesta
The problem Ross McCormack has is that beyond Fulham who would actually want him? With the level of competition in this division now can anyone really afford to carry a mercurial, reportedly lazy player who only turns up to training when he fancies is and is unwilling to put the graft in when he drops out of the starting 11? I know for a fact I wouldn't want that sort of character here.

JuanFloEvraTheCocu'sNesta
You would have thought Bruce would be a bit more savvy than that, unless he was trying to give him a kick up the rear end to see if he can get him back in the Villa team. No doubt a fit and firing McCormack would be an asset, but it doesn't seem likely to happen any time soon.
Nuwtfly
Sheffield Wednesday interested in taking him off Villa's hand. Good luck to them, buying him at age 29 after his attitude problems at Villa would be up there with the worst Derby transfers ever...
