Deforestation has reached 3 X the level it was only a week ago. Ince by Ince it is being chopped away. Hughes areas of previously wooded areas are now a wasteland. European consultant Nick Bentner suggested that his own net analysis of the situation confirmed the continuing trend of tree felling in Derbyshire. Think that runs Bairds pass close for being the best thing I've seen today
Warren Hobhead
Carson - Great stop from Cash first half but had little else to worry about. 7 Baird - Looks the Premier League he has been for most of his career. The pass into Ince for the goal was extraordinary. Won so many headers. 8 Keogh - Hardly noticed him. 7 Pearce - Like Keogh, little to do but won everything in the air when needed. 7 Olsson - Linked superbly with Butterfield first half. A constant threat. 8 Johnson - An absolute machine. Looks every inch the player we need to allow our two technicians to go to work. 9 Hughes - Injured but still a class act. That is Will close to his best. It's a joy watching him and Butters in this midfield. Deserved his goal for the effort he put in. 9 Butterfield - A masterclass in there today. Box to box, immaculate in possession, won headers and tackles, just unable to re-find his shooting boots of last season. But I can accept that because he's more of a complete midfielder this year. 9 Ince - Sublime. Different gravy going forward and worked hard out of possession too. His goal was top drawer and he was my man of the match. 9 Russell - Better in the second after an iffy first half. Needs to get his head up more. Effort was there as ever but he's the one player I feel wasn't quite on it today. 6 Bent - Steady stuff. Think the booking affected him. 7 Vydra - Ran around a bit. I think we were coasting by then to be honest. 6 Bryson - Again, the game was up by then. Didn't really do much for me. Didn't need to really. 6 Weimann - Never noticed him. 6 Midfield was the key. They just swallowed Forest up second half. Honourable mention for Bendtner. Im drunk as well. Happy days.

Yes, white and blue I think. They started with the Phillpot stuff just after they passed us*. I genuinely thought that they may have jumped out of the upstairs window, they were baying for blood. I know all teams have idiots - and some brave Derby souls were bravely giving them gestures back - but Forest do seem to specialise. *We did see another bus doing the Philpott stuff. I think it is one of their favourites
sage
Ratings for today Carson 7 - Had one good save to make and held it well. Baird 8 - Calmness personified, great ball for Ince's goal, great in the air. Still looks exposed when isolated by a winger Olsson 7 - Some sloppy passes in the first half, but was sound defensively and made 3 great runs Keogh 7 - Faultless but I think i could have marked Bendtner today Pearce 7 - Same as Keogh Johnson 8 - Some sloppy passes first half, got a silly booking which hampered his tackles, but won every header and 50/50 Butterfield 6 - Better after our 2nd goal, but slows plays down too much and doesn't know when to turn with the ball Hughes 8 - Imperious. Danced around their midfield at will. Ince 8 - Was on it today. Excellent goal. Obviously hates Forest Russell 7- Still lacking quality at times but worked very hard and gave them problems all game Bent 7 - Held the ball up well. Poor control on one break which could have led to a second yellow. Bendtner 7 - Didn't do much except for the goal and hitting the bar, but he was a threat at all our corners

PrivateDerby
A load of our lads were singing the Doughty one though, shame really... BTP did well keeping them forest bellends away from families, one Bobby delivered a spectacular jab on the chin.
jono
What a day .. Great atmosphere, crowd in full voice and bouncing from the off. Odd first 20 mins where we sat to deep in general terms but seemed to let them break back at us when we did venture forward. But heh it was a local Derby so tentative "show us what you've got" is par for the course I suppose. Started to get a bit of possession and then the more than useful own goal gave us the nod in the first half. after that it was our show .. They flatter to deceive. They have some strong fast players, pressed a bit more than we did initially, heavy in the tackle but a bit like those nothing artificial marketing man brands .. All badges, names and logos but no intrinsic quality. Osborne is the exception a talented player .. so it made me deeply sad that he just isn't a sportsman and deserved every piece bile directed at him. That's was cheating, cheap and has no place in sport. Ugly and so unnecessary. As to our lads .. A great team performance. I almost don't want to make individual comments because they really worked hard for each other. But you have to highlight something. Baird .. Flipping brilliant pass and a great all round performance. Olson .. His last game was pretty bland but today he was adventurous, threatening and brave BJ .. Armored fighting vehicle ? .. Nahhh main battle tank with depleted uranium ordinance. Ince .. ANYONE who moans about what he doesn't do needs to be sent to a gulag for subversion. Boy genius. Hughes .. Poetry in motion AND he scored Think Bent wasn't 100% and the card didn't help. I might have put Vydra on 10 mins earlier but then I am just a fan and not SuperMac who gets 10/10 COYR

SuperDerbySuperRams
Best part of all, if I'm not mistaken, was that **** Osborn trying to keep in the ball after the keeper went to put it out, but couldn't do so. So we didn't give it back, and scored seconds later... Unlucky, lad

Sheikh n Bake
Anyone got access to the highlights or recorded the game? I've a Leeds mate (Sorry!), who reckons that Forest kicked the ball out of play deliberately for Olson before the corner that led to the opening goal. I'm sure this wasn't the case but would appreciate some evidence to prove it! Aha. Great result today.

Their goalkeeper threw it out of play , but Osborn tried to get the ball but failed to make contact, so it wasn't obvious that their goalie was deliberately putting ball out of play cos of our injured player. Bris Vegas
They had ample time before to kick the ball out of play, but didn't bother. I bet if they were 1-0 up with only a matter of minutes to go they would gladly kick it out to waste time. Teams do it when it suits them. Forest tried to counter knowing we were a man short. We pressed them back, before their GK was seemingly caught in two minds and played a poor pass out wide. Why should we give the ball back? We forced them into a mistake. There was a good 20 seconds of Forest play before the ball eventually went out of play.
