My only comment about the comparisons with the Reading match was at the time we were on a downward spiral with a defence that leaked goals for fun. Neither are the case this time.

Been away for ever and find no one has updated this thread. After today's win against Orient and the other results, we can't finish lower than 4th. Come on you Rams!

I think we will win, but I'd love us to put out a message to the chasing teams. So, not just a win, but a good win where we show we deserve to be in the automatic spot.

Remember it well.
Was on holiday in Tenerife, sat in the bar wearing my Rams shirt with a lager in front of me(well, that's what they called it) listening via Rams player.
I started off with my usual nerves but as the game progressed the "lager" flowed and the grin grew and grew and grew!

It's only the most important until the next one.
I don't think it's as important as the Bolton game. Whilst hopefully we won't need it, that win gives us a bit of breathing space in case we only manage a draw (or, heaven forbid, worse) tomorrow. If we'd failed to beat Bolton then tomorrow would have taken on even greater significance. If we'd lost against Bolton we'd already have one knacker in the door.
For the avoidance of doubt, I'm of course not suggesting for one minute that either PW or the players should approach the game with the mindset that the Bolton win has given us a little bit of a comfort blanket. I fully expect everyone at the club to view the game as one we aim to win and are more than capable of winning.

After such a huge win last weekend PLEASE Derby can we not bottle it in this game. Please, just for once, can we actually see the job through and make it easy for ourselves.
This is exactly the sort of game we’ve had many times this season - a chance to really put the pressure on the teams around us when they’re not playing. And every time, it feels like, we’ve f***** it up with a pathetic half-arsed performance. It’s time for this team to get a grip, work like they’ve never worked before, and put Northampton to the sword. Show that strong character and personality, and show that they can see the job through.
We’ve bottled it wayyyy too many times from this sort of position in my lifetime. PLEASE Derby let’s make this season different and see it over the line. Do it for f****** B4! COME ON YOU f****** RAMS 

All these stats leave me cold. If they win and we draw and the third team lose and the second win etc etc. If my aunt had b******* she’d be my uncle etc.   If we could predict accurately we would all be millionaires. Just take it a game at a time

It's difficult to put a player from League 1 into the international side when others are playing regularly at a higher level. I expect him to break into their national side next season.

First step - secure a top 6 place. Then, focus on 3rd. Then, top 2. That’s the pessimist/realist in me, who’s not sure that our club can actually get over the line. Yet yesterdays win…something could be happening

Really wish I could be there today, instead of being stuck here with my foot up after doing a swan dive on the stairs the other day.
 But, I refuse to miss out - I'll get my fix...
 I'll be listening in on Rams player wearing my lucky shirt, sat in one of the small chairs with scrave at hand, and a flange of 150C hot choc for half time. Before the match I'll log onto the megastore website and complain loudly that they still dont have any "Argentinian" shirts, and I'll get my youngest to call me and shout expletives down the phone at crucial points during the game.
 I'll have to make do with getting my wife to get me to stand up so she can squeeze past me 5 mins before half time and 10 mins before 90 mins, but jumping up to cheer the Rams many goals - well that could be a little interesting, but I'll manage!
 Of course, I'll stand outside the loo for 10 mins at half time for that true match day nervous bladder feeling and I may even see if I can get a recording of the radio Derby moan-in so I can have some background noise of people wingeing about Warne's tactics so I get the true sound of the crowd! 🤣
