And yet you quote a neo-nazi in support of your argument.

It wasn't Voltaire who said that...

fair play on knowing this. I've never had reason to investigate who said something that resonates. Obviously a quote from a horrible person, who I wouldn't align with on principle, however, even evil scumbags can be correct every now and then. Similarly, good people can be wrong. Look how many people believe in different religions. They cannot all be correct. If an evil scumbag looks out of the window and tells you it is raining, the fact he's an evil scumbag doesn't make him incorrect.

I fear @Mostyn6 you have over-snacked on Icke biscuits. Step back from the tin.

I wondered if anyone would say that. But I left Derby in one direction, and G left Derby in the other direction and I've not seen him for 2 years. I've never subscribed to David's sites/newsletters etc, nor read any of his books in entirety. I'll admit that G's support for Palestine over the years has made me pay closer attention, and aligned with what I know to be dishonest and biased mainstream media in almost everything, I don't believe a word I hear on the news.

I will add though, almost everything about the last few years of Covid, Lockdowns, Vaccines, WEF, Cashless society, was all called out by the likes of The Ickes, all dismissed by people like you, and then proven to be more accurate than how reported by the mainstream.

But, as they say, "you do you.. hun". I'm happy to be open-minded about these things.

We have had one poster say there was no evidence of the Hamas attacks

If this is aimed at me, I stand by the comment, but will not argue your beliefs. If you choose to believe what you're told, then that is your right.

Oddly, if you look at the video posted by Rev above, you'll see an Israeli PR guy refuting video evidence highlighting war crimes by Israel.

Do you not find it odd that they order Palestinians to leave the land they desire, under the guise of wanting to crush Hamas, as if Hamas couldn't just leave with the civilians to avoid being crushed.

This has been planned for a long time.

I don't doubt that there have been Hamas attacks, but with everything Israel has reported for at least the last 15years (I've been paying attention), what they report as severe attacks are nowhere near, what they report as attacks in previous years have been children throwing stones from 1/2 a mile away (and being shot dead by Israeli forces). There is plenty of footage of this.

For clarity, Hamas is real, but the media is so one-sided and the media is literally all owned by Israel so all the reporting is biased.

If you want to justify a war, you create/embellish/exaggerate something to create rage.

  4. finally got around to watching Sex Education on Netflix, I think I've been previously guilty of pre-judging this as some teen thing without knowing anything about it. Got to hold my hand up and say I was wrong, and I'm really loving it. If you've not seen it, give a couple of episodes a go. It's not too sophisticated, but it is funny and sometimes warming, but on the whole, entertaining.

Cabal D'Amour sounds like the kind of place to make a proposal.

Are we to expect Mostyn wedding bells?

Either way, glad you had a good time though you missed our upturn in form

it was quite a pretty place all around, but the cove that is Canal D'amour is a tourist attraction and understandably so. Our hotel room overlooked it and I've never been one to get carried away with "view" etc, but I was taken aback by the sunsets there.

No wedding bells any time soon, but I daren't say that too loudly, otherwise bottom-lips will be expanding.

I did however, along with my West Brom supporting mate, head out to the strip for an afternoon of Gillette Soccer Saturday and Greek Cider in our new home kit (top). Glad we won so convincingly though.

  7. got back from Sidari, Corfu yesterday morning. Having never really heard about the place, I went with an open mind. It was my kind of place, ideal for couples (I went with GF and another married couple). I recommend it as it's beautiful (google Canal D'Amour) and you get so much value for money.

I go to Stalis, Crete in a couple of weeks. Cannot wait.

  8. I'm beginning to draw parallels with Nigel Clough. I think Warne clearly has a bit of man-management and work-ethic, however appears reluctant/unaware of where he's lacking, and doesn't appear to be willing/aware to fill the lacking areas with his backroom staff.

Nigel was very loyal to the likes of Crosby and Martin Taylor. I think Warne is similar, and this is not diverse enough in terms of skillset.

Brighton seem to be the Mike Ashley’s of the transfer game; just looking for value, nothing else. Mind you, it’s only what Chelsea used to do - they must have made a pretty penny out of Patrick Bamford without ever playing him.

Can't say I agree with this in any way. "Nothing Else"? This would suggest they aren't looking for quality, ability, improvement, progress etc.

Have you not paid attention to their league positions over last few years? Certainly not the trajectory of a club only looking for value!
