    I was just thinking this.

Given thar we probably won't have the money to compete with most clubs at championship level (how times change), is it better to be in and around it in League One than being in that tedious race to get to 50 points and breathe a sigh of relief?

    That's Nigel territory!

    Toilets are nicer though.😳

Where’s all the “it doesn’t matter if we’ve played 2 extra games, we’re second in the league” lot gone? Barnsley win their’s and we’re 4th.

Well done to Warne though for beating perhaps the worst team we’ve ever played in a league match though.

Ed Begley Jr Comedy GIF by CBS    I don’t remember anyone saying it doesn’t matter. We were second, we are third, we could be fourth, we could be back to second 🤷🏻‍♂️

Bizarrely I think it helps a little that Posh are back in the automatic promotion race, given they play Bolton on the last day of the season. We may need them to be switched on for the last game this time unlike when they rolled over for Barnsley last season.

In a scenario where it's Bolton 2nd, with us then Posh & Barnsley within a point or 2 going into the last day we might need Posh to beat or draw with Bolton on the last day whilst we beat Carlisle to nick 2nd!

David Clowes needs to sort that out. The ones who complain about more passionate fans taking those empty seats should be offered a free season ticket to move elsewhere. I'm guessing the number is fairly small. maybe a couple of dozen at most, The value to the club having a noisy SE Corner to complement the SS and SW Corner would be worth the one off expense.

When the tickets went on sale earlier, the two blocks nearest the away fans were for sale with the tag line, seating area only.

  6. Don’t quite know what happened earlier regarding the tickets for Bolton.

The four blocks in the East stand nearest the away fans went on sale briefly with about 300 tickets and when I looked a little while later they had gone, fairly sure they didn’t sell out that quickly.

    Currently showing 1,382 tickets left.

I agree. There's still a lot of points to play for and no one will win every game, there will be surprise results and drama right through to the last couple of games.

Its going to be mighty close but there's no reason at all why we can't sneak that 2nd spot.

    Referees ?

  8. Less than 1,500 tickets left for the home game v Bolton in eleven days time.

Looks like this could be a genuine sellout possibly the first since the Birmingham protest march game.
Only 82 seats left in the South stand and 153 in the East stand.

In the next day or two presumably they will start to add the seats not normally on sale, mainly in the East stand which will probably add about another 1,000

Bolton have already sold their full allocation of just over 3,000.

Are we likely to want to continue to go ahead with the Northampton game if possible, rather than have to squeeze in an unnecessary midweek match before the end of the season?

NML is staying, Washington and Nyambe probably won't be fit anyway.

However, Collins and Fozzy will likely have recovered for any rearranged game.

The fact that it wasn’t even mentioned on the website when the tickets went on sale makes me think we aren’t looking to postpone the game.

As I am sure everyone on here knows, we play Bolton at home March 16th....however, this is during the international break.

Is there any chance this gets postponed? If so, when are we likely to find out?

Both us & Bolton have had games postponed previously due to call ups. From our squad we potentially have NML, Cashin & Robinson who could get called up. Bolton have had 5 players called up previously.

International break is the week after.

NML has already pulled out of the Guatemala squad.

Cambridge is gonna be a nightmare, innit? Already considering setting up an account there and buying tickets to their cheapest game just to make it look legit

I set up an account yesterday without buying a ticket but I’ve got a Notts postcode.

Cambridge v Northampton on sale now for £19 pounds.

Be quick though, they will cotton on if they get a lot of new members from Derbyshire 😉
