What happened to Mick? Used to see him at every away game back in the 80s. I didn't know him other than a quick 'alright mate?' But he is almost as etched in my mind from that era as Whoa Bobby clenching his fists.
I'm fairly sure I was at and end of year event when he won supporter of the season.
I see him most games either in the East stand at home or most away games. Also under 21 games.

Just been looking on the other forums:
Germany: "Good win, but Scotland are rubbish and are the sort of team we should be thrashing if we want to win the Euros"
Spain: "Yes we took our goals well, but we conceeded so many chances to a poor and old Croatia side. Mbappe or Kane would have 3 tonight."
Italy: "Awful start conceeding to a minnow like Albania. Hung on a bit at the end, fearful for when we play a good team."
There’s other forums 🙂

Does anybody know when or how we can purchase tickets for chesterfield and shrewsbury match’s I haven’t seen any ticket information thanks in advance
Most away tickets go on sale around one month before the fixture.
Chesterfield last season went on sale on the 19th of June for the match on the 19th of July.
Ticket prices were £10 adults and £5 concessions.
Tickets were sold only from Chesterfield and downloaded to your phone or print at home.
So possibly one week from tomorrow with Shrewsbury following shortly after is my best guess.

Out of interest , over what period of time are the 15+ ect games counted from and to?
Fairly sure it’s how many away league games you went to in the season just finished applies to the whole of the season about to start.
So if you went to say, 7 away games last season you will be the 5+ category for the whole of this season.
Tickets must have been purchased from DCFC .

Got our two, just love those away weekends and the midweek short breaks.
I know we're lucky enough to be able to go to all the away games. We're both semi retired now.
Just love the pre match in the pubs, that great away game atmosphere and seeing all the familiar faces.

If you ever watch an English language film on Italian TV, it's always dubbed into Italian. It's awful - not because you may understand little of the dialogue, but because the voices they give the actors are usually incongruous. You want Clint Eastwood to sound like Clint Eastwood, not an Italian.
Whatsa matter you, godda no respect, why you look so sad. Go ahead punk maka my day.

Has away membership helped anyone get away tickets?
For me, tickets either sold out to those who had purchased the requisite number of tickets in the previous season or I got them based on my season ticket.
Away membership didn’t seem to come into it.
There is likely to be around 22,000 season tickets, so away membership gives you priority over them.
Obviously most away members are already season ticket holders but it still leaves a big group fighting for the last few tickets.

Got my three.
Fixtures out on the 26th of June.
Priority for existing away members runs out on the 27th of June.
New member applications on the 28th of June.

Devante Cole to be announced as our first signing is my wild card guess.
Then bring back Kevin Hector and we can have a front 3 of Nat, King, Cole ☺️

Yes, but the football was about the same distance from good, as well, and was for quite a while either side of that match. However, personal abuse is unacceptable, whatever the reason.
Next 5 league matches after Stevenage.
Played 5.
Won 5.
For 13.
Against 1.

Wasn't that the game Warne said he would have booed if he was a fan? If Warne was to be sacked, after that game was arguably the best time to do it - we were 9th after 14 games. We would have had enough games and points to play for to turn it around. The failure to beat Crewe after 2 attempts rasised concerns too.
Unfortunately, when we didn't win, there wasn't much to cheer about. At least when playing more technical football there is more to justify giving a manager more time.
After Stevenage, we won the next 5 league games, followed by a draw then 4 more wins, which took us to 2 points off automatics. The management team deserved to at least see the season out to prove they could get us promotion. They succeeded and now deserve to be backed to prove they can meet the objectives in the Championship.
The excuse in the past has been along the lines of Warne being restricted to players signed by other managers limiting the style of play. Ignoring academy graduates, there will only be 4 players next season signed by other managers (Rooney, Forsyth, Mendez-Laing and Barkhuizen) and 2 of those were given new contracts by Warne. This is now Warne's squad. I think it's now fair to say the quality of play should also improve as more signings are made to compliment exactly what Warne wants. Management also deserve a bit of time to prove this is the case.
Despite a couple of my original concerns from 2022 still being in place (academy and style of play), I'm still looking forward to what Warne can deliver next season.
Stevenage was awful but there is a difference between booing and absolute foul mouthed rage from some of our so called supporters.
I would argue that 14 games into the second season of a four year contract was not the right time to get rid and start again.
As you have pointed out this season is Warnes team with hopefully a full preseason and I believe he should be given a chance to mould this new group of players into a team.

Compared to what the Derby fans had to endure that game, I would say it was quite mild 😉
It’s a good job some of us, and Mr Clowes in particular have a bit more patience then.

I've got no problem at all with people being honest - everyone has an absolute right to their own opinion and a right to vocalise it!
But how you vocalise it is another matter. You don't have to be rude to people just because you can be. It not only makes you look like a bit of a bamford but it lowers the quality and standard of the forum as a whole (be it this literal forum or just the general forum of ideas, public discourse etc)
In fact, I think what ends up happening is that the interesting points some of these posters are making gets just ends up getting completely lost between the snide comments and jibes.
I'm not saying it all needs to be peace and love on here but I think it is a shame that there is an increasing inability to have a civilised debate about pretty much anything without it becoming nasty. I don't see conversations/debates take place like that in the terraces or on the supporters bus, so why online?
(just to clarify, when I say you i don't mean you specifically @Archied)
I take it you weren’t at the the Stevenage away game, what Warne had to endure was about as far away from civilised debate as you could get.

You're going to eat the manager? Okay.
You made your mind up early into the managers reign and nothing was going to change your opinion.
Lots of people had doubts when he was appointed, me included, it was the same when Jim Smith was appointed.
I didn’t voice my opinion, I preferred to wait and see how it played out.
Some had a very low opinion of him but have since changed their minds and have stated that, and that’s fine.
No one knows what this season will bring but we start with a clean slate and I am prepared to give the team and management my full support. You ?

He's taking the piss, because I made a post about Warne earlier down the thread and then edited it to say can't be bothered. Which I can't because as you point out it's not allowed to have doubts about Warne's ability at Championship level, nor to remember and be concerned by just how abject some of the football was last season.
You didn’t have doubts, you wanted him sacked as you mentioned on numerous occasions.
