Ambitious got a reaction from r_wilcockson in v Huddersfield (H) Match Thread
It's difficult to predict what kind of team we will turn up with at this moment in time, but Huddersfield are also expected to struggle alongside us next season.
It's a big game, without the ability to sign any CBs then I would imagine we stand little chance. If we can at least get Jagielka signed, it would give me a bit more hope. It's not going to be a highscoring game by any stretch of the imagination.
An ugly 1-0 win would be beautiful to me. We have Peterborough and Hull immediately after. We really need a decent start considering these are teams expected to be fighting relegation this season.

My other questions would be to ask what we are doing to improve recruitment as its largely to blame for the mess we find ourselves in? We are undeniably one of the worst clubs in the country when it comes recruiting players for both the ability we recruit and in resale value of the players we sign. As far as I know, it hasn't changed since Mel walked through the door. If I was him, I would've chemically castrated the entire lot for wasting 10s of millions of my money. He seems a patient man in that regard.

Maybe we’re getting Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink out of retirement?

As with the stadium, though, I don't think he is breaking any rules. If Mel Morris wants to buy a greek club and do the same then he's more than welcome to. The players have to agree to move to the club after all - hence why I think a lot of the established players at Olympiacos have been spared a stint in Nottingham.
Who knows, if Fulham fail to get promoted and look to fall foul of FFP then perhaps you will see Mitrovic join the Jacksonville Jaguars as a tight end. No more mental than Tebow, I guess!

Speaks volumes when his own uncle could get him signed up for next to nothing and he’s acting like he’s never heard of the poor kid!

What happened with the proposed East Stand development? Did we get the planning permission?

My question: what steps are involved and what is the timeframe on Derby County being out of a transfer embargo completely - not just loosening of the restrictions?
Do we have to write this entire season off, with regards to progressive new signings or if we need help in January could we be in a position to make those additions.

I have no problem with Fulham doing what they need to in order to circumnavigate the rules. They have a seriously rich owner and as we've learned - FFP - isn't for the fair play of football at this level. They needed Liverpool to agree to the deal, assumingly they weren't thrilled at receiving no money immediately, so I really don't see the issue.
The more ridiculous these rules are made to be seen, the better chance of a workable alternative. Ideally, we could do with the three relegated teams going straight back up - probably for a couple of seasons - in order for the rest of the league to take action.

Ambitious got a reaction from JustOneBiblicalKazim in Roos
Roos has become a good Championship keeper, who still has weaknesses to his game. Ultimately, though, he was the reason we got into the play-offs under Lampard. The performance away at Bristol City, which proved vital, was one of the best I've seen from a goalkeeper at Derby in 30 years. If we don't win that, we don't get in the play-offs. He then went on to make the mistake at Wembley, but we were outmatched by a better team. No grievances from me.
I'd be ok with either Marshall or Roos in goal. I like Marshall more, in all honesty, but Roos is a decent enough keeper. Marshall is a decent enough keeper. Both will make mistakes. Roos' weaknesses are more glaring, but ultimately he's a fantastic shot stopper and has been for a while now. All this being said: we are only one mistake from labelling him the worst keeper in the world. It's an unfair standard set upon him.

We would be charged under the modern slavery act 2015 if that's the case.

Ticket holders details will be held and used for NHS Test and Trace.
Who exactly decides in the event of an attendee later testing positive who else needs to be contacted, and roughly what criteria are used?
Is it distance between seats, turnstile used, stair number etc etc.
