Hopefully some of those MPs have told the EFL that if Derby are obstructed from being taken over and get liquidated the HMRC and creditors bill is being forwarded to the EFL for payment - they might get the message then!

Boro fans are very pro Gibson and anti Derby. The general sentiment looking online is most agree with Gibson’s course of action or are not bothered either way. In any case, Gibson probably doesn’t care what Boro or Derby fans think anyway about this - he wants money and would not be upset to see Derby out of business I’m sure.
Also I’m not sure trying to appeal to Gibson will work. Derby are fighting for their existence. Action needs to be taken. No grovelling etc. Derby need to stand up to Gibson and say no. I couldn’t care less what Boro fans think and neither I’m sure would the majority of other Derby fans.

Quantuma shouldn't have to have a plan B. Rules are rules and laws are laws. They are a professional accredited business and they follow the law. They are following the law.
They aren't here to "show leadership", they are here to follow the law, and provide the best deal for the creditors. Too right they are covering their backsides, would you just wing it if you were in a legal situation.
What we are seeing here is the EFL being upset they couldn't relegate us last season and they are trying their hardest to do it this time, in fact attempting to break UK insolvency laws to do so.
I'm sure any administrator wouldn't expect to have to deal with a governing body which is basically acting like a petulant child that can't get was they want.
Some may say the EFL don't have a vendetta against us, but the day that they came out and said they were "disappointed" with the findings of the independent panel, they cemented that they do, and their actions since then have shown that they are a corrupt disgrace.
This isn't going to stop with us. They wiped out Macclesfield, they kicked out Bury, they let a fraudster take over at Wigan then washed their hands of it a month later, they sent Bolton to league 2, and they are going to liquidate Derby.
The league needs to be restructured and the EFL needs to be removed.

If I’m understanding the current situation:
    1. We have 3 offers that have satisfied the administrators, 1 of which is seemingly the best (preferred bid). Meaning these offers cover the debts, and sale of club assets.

    2. Because of my first point, all that’s left in the process is for the EFL to sign off on the bids as meeting all necessary steps( which they seem to do from what I infer from the admins statement).
    3. EFL say, we can’t sign off on those bids because we want you to settle these other claims first( which from what I’ve seen and has been suggested by the admins is outside of the EFLs remit.)

    4. The admins respond by saying- hold up, you don’t have jurisdiction to NOT sign off on these bids for the club. Which is why the administrators are requesting immediate clarification on why the EFL think they can enforce such a demand.

    5. I would imagine the creditors are raising an eyebrow. If the EFL are indeed standing in the way of the creditors becoming whole with official bids, then the EFL should expect quite a bit of heat from the creditors to confirm why they won’t allow the sale to be ratified.

Are those the basic plot points we have currently?

Middlesborough were prevented from joining in on the Stadium sale / amortisation process because the EFL correctly applied the rules that there was an established process for the EFL to take action against Derby. A decision was made ultimately by the LAP, wrongly in my view but Derby shot themselves in the foot too, but nonetheless that is where it should have stopped. Decision made, punishment applied, everyone moves on.
Gibson though clearly was was wound up by Morris, and is now taking vexatious action to say that the punishment meted out to Derby was insufficient given the loss of income his club potentially suffered. Under EFL rules that claim needs to be separately arbitrated. That arbitration process will take ages to organise, and the Club will want to resist it as I understand (only from reading on here) that any decision of the LAP is final, and there is no appeal.
There is no official action or claim from Boro as they are prevented from taking action against a member club through the Courts under EFL rules. They can only pursue action as detailed above.
In my view, caveated by I am no lawyer, there is a strong case for Quantuma to take on the EFL via court injunction to stop them interfering with their statutory duties to creditors under the IA86. Hopefully that is true, and money will be found to stop the arbitration affecting the sale of the club. Hopefully the ruling will also determine that if Boro want to action a claim it has to be via a court action not a LAP kangaroo hearing.
I have not mentioned Wycombe in this as they just being a complete nuisance, with no reasonable claim whatsover.

The 2 parasitic clubs in question cannot be creditors of any kind football or any other as we do not owe either of them (morally nor legally) a penny.
If the EFL insist on adding them to our liabilities (of which they have no right) as Football creditors we should challenge them through the law of the land. Subsequently we should sue the EFL for restriction of practice resulting in them being in breach of anti-competition laws.
Get the gloves off and if we are to go down, then we get a few blows in and bloody some noses on our way out #wellfighttotheend

We should be instructing lawyers to go to the high court and get a high court injunction against the EFL interfering in the legal process of Administration. We are being forced to settle an untested case with Boro/Wycombe under duress.

Every single tweet from their official twitter feeds need to be spamed by our fans calling them out on their actions, every single article from nixon and other journalists need to be spamed by our fans asking why they aren't asking more questions of boro and wycombe, every single radio phone in on talk sport and 5 live needs to be flooded with our fans asking questions about the ethics and legality of that process.

I suppose we should really have known that was most likely not Morris causing the delays, but rather Gibson and the EFL. It's simply yet another stalling tactic that will result in an avalanche of subsequent claims against the EFL should they be feeble enough to cave in.
    CREDITOR:
A term used in accounting, 'creditor' refers to the party that has delivered a product, service or loan, and is owed money by one or more debtors.
Neither Boro nor Wycombe fall into any of the above categories so they can't legally be added to the creditor's list. The admins will have to protect the interests of those with genuine claims and will fight any such attempt. I strongly suspect that this is what they referenced in their press release to BAWT.
The Pint-sized pemaprick and that other irrelevant gobshite therefore need to be reined in and told that if they genuinely wish to pursue their vexatious claims against the club, that they need to do so through appropriate channels. That is to say, they need to stop whining, and duck off to the civil courts if they really believe they have a worthwhile case.

    My take on Nixon...
He clearly had a good source when it came to the Kirchner bid (Stretford), similar with Appleby (Moxey).
I'm sure Nixon will have been told by Moxey that Friday was decision time, hence Nixon stating Friday was D-Day.
What Nixon et al didn't realise was that Ashley had approached and was blowing them out the water.
Quantuma, to their credit, did say if they weren't able to publicly name the preferred bidder last week they will tell us the reasons for the hold up...well, by leaking it to Percy they have done just that, without personally coming out and naming Ashley, which wouldn't be a professional thing to do.
Nixon, when finding out Appplebys group aren't being named prefferred bidders on Friday as expected, as then jumped to the conclusion that Boro and Wycombe are the reasons, when really, its Mike Ashley at the back post.

I think Ashley would be a good fit for Derby - I take no notice of what Newcastle fans think, as they are absolutely deluded to think that Newcastle Utd is a huge Football Club - yrs it’s a huge club in the North East, but on a National level, that’s just ludicrous. Ashley took a financial sink hole of a club and made it financially very stable and sold it for a huge profit . Newcastle Utd will never compete with the big boys, no matter how much money the Arabs throw at it - top world class players will never want to play for clubs like Newcastle, as it’s geographically negative - players will only want to ho to London, Manchester and Liverpool clubs.
Ashley would be fantastic for Derby County Football Club. He would never put us on financial jeopardy and that’s why he is a top businessman, unlike the carpet baggers we become used to in recent years.

Not overly scientific. Based on the highest number of league starts made in Goal, Defence, Midfield, Attack in a 442 formation.
Three ‘subs’ are those with the next most starts.

I know it seems a long way into the season but... we have to let him settle in and find his home, which for him takes longer than most.
I think its telling that he's now played more games for us than he has for any other perm move in his career, and the only other time being a loan spell at Brum back in 2013.
I think he's starring to settle in and actually enjoys being here from his social media etc.
I hope for his sake, he stays and becomes part of whatever squad we have in the future.
