Managed to buy a copy in the megastore before the game and got through the first couple of chapters pre match (perhaps should have carried on in the first half!). There were about four copies left in the shop.

Yes that was pretty poor on their part spoiling an otherwise impeccable minute's silence.

I don't actually agree with this, having worked for charities my whole career.
Many societies are set up to speak on behalf of a wider community than their actual membership, from political parties down.
The whole point of a democratic vehicle is to allow access to as many members as want to be involved, that way the organisation acheives as much democracy as it can. As it grows it can then do more to reach out to wider and wider groups of people.
I think Punjabi Rams have a structure and elections, I know the local supporters clubs do. I suspect most of the other "representative" groups don't, I know for example that this was a role thrust upon our Forum that @David felt very uncomfortable with. And as for the democracy of letting a man with a flag "represent" supporters! Sure Nick didn't ask for that, either.
I cannot for the life of me understand why supporters want to pour scorn over the one organisation whose very existence is set up to be the very thing that they all want - a voice in how the club is run.
I'm with @Simmo’s left foot, if more of us had got off our backsides earlier, then we might have been a force to be reckoned with when we were needed. But we aren't  - yet.
I  have joined because I want to change that. What are you doing about it?

There did not appear to be anything going on at the last home game, but at least Rammy is no longer on furlough and has been seen at the last two games.

I remember as a kid going to an open day at the BBG in about 1981 when the European Cup and Championship trophy were on display - I assume Forest or Villa must have lent us the trophies for the day. Managed to proudly shake Colin Addison's hand in his office and bag Kevin Hector's autograph along with a lot of obscure reserve players. Anyone else remember this event?

Thats a real shame but I get what you mean. You have to be so careful especially now away tickets are so expensive.  I used to love being in the thick of it when younger and not ill. There's nothing like it when you win but unfortunately there is a real lack of consideration for others like those who cant stand or with small children. Wasnt going to Peterborough mainly as I am immunosuppressed and so didnt want to be in a close crowd but when the extra tickets were on sale the Peterborough ticket office helped me choose some to give me the best chance of feeling a bit safer. That's where a helpful and open ticket office knowing the ground is invaluable compared to just booking online. I hope safe standing helps

Spot on. It is hard to maintain the level of intensity needed from our limited squad game after game and better teams like Coventry will out play us. At least we are still competing and only one down.

I'm a Sky Blue... Born Chaddy and moved to North of Coventry at the age of 2. Not sure I'm allowed a second team but have always looked out for your results and been a bit narked that DCFC never seem to make the big time despite the fantastic fan base.   My first game was a 0-0 in 1974 FA Cup tie at Highfield Rd.   Went today.  I agree with this comment and as the second half went on it looked like County would draw level.  A brief moment of entertainment in the stands was the side show before the goal.  Derby looked big in defence and fair play for commanding the best part of the second half.  City had a penalty call but it was waived away.  Hit the bar and had a goal disallowed.  But Derby were worth their draw.  Hope off the pitch problems get sorted out so that you stay up.

Excellent point away to a top 6 team. Only 6 points off the drop with 96 points still available?

2nd half we were way the better team which is a pleasant change for us...well worth the point and could easily have pinched all 3..that is a superb point against a team that had a 100% home record..again great fight by the lads..great vocal support from our fans..onwards and upwards..

We only have the players we have - so they need maximum support from us and maximum effort from the players
we are also missing Baldock Knight Forsyth and CKR is nowhere near fit so we are very limited

Firstly thanks everyone who reacted to my post about going - I felt really supported by you.
It was so good to be back after 2years and never expected to get there. So many improvements round the ground - though I do miss taking my life in my hands crossing the road by ToysRus!
I really enjoyed the game even though the end was disappointing. I thought some of the play was excellent though the mistakes for their goals were difficult to take.
Agree that footbridge is impressive. By the way @cosmici didn’t laugh much when I was the one who tripped up the step and broke my wrist!!
I haven’t been up that late let alone out for so long and I was shattered afterwards but, of course, I couldn’t get to sleep as I was still hyped up.
Feeling a bit fragile this morning but we’ll worth it. Can’t wait to go again some time!
