Fine as a limited overs game, test cricket only works when the teams are pretty evenly matched. Underdog team pulling out a heroic session or probably ends up not mattering over a 5 day test.

Having finished 7th and now in a better financial position, it's obviously reasonable to expect an improvement next year, but at the moment all these "anything less that top 2 is a failure" predictions are not yet based on anything other than expectation of what 'should' be happening because a club of our size and we did well last year yadda yadda.. and it's not yet based on any team we may actually be able to put out as there are going to be a lot of both outgoings and incomings.
Since the end of the season we have lost quite a few players who played a fair few games between them and we have not seen any signings yet due to the window not being open. As such, I can't really say what I expect next year until I have seen how the squad is added to because as of this moment we're paper thin and have a weaker squad than last year. That's not a surprise or a criticism in any way, but I just have no idea what team is going to step out in a Derby shirt yet.

Only sports I really like are football, Formula1, cricket and tennis. 

Hopefully. I’d be happy to see him go to Birmingham permanently, even better if we get money out it. They’re an uninspiring move as I can think of and that would make me feel somewhat better about losing a talented player.

Finished it last night. Gets a bit silly with the plotlines towards the end as if they were seeing how many more they could cram in but still watchable. 

Hoping for the day we sack Umbro off and move on from the Primark quality football shirt 

Watched two. Ep. 1 was excellent. 2nd was good without being great.
The lead actor is very good. You may have seen her in Russian Doll.
The interesting thing about this show is that it's a love letter to 1980s TV. It's set in the current day, but the styling and scripting are an echo of 80s TV shows. Each episode is a stand alone story, with a story arc through the series.
Id certainly recommend watching ep 1. Then take it from there if you enjoy.

He took a team that finished 6th, added 3 future internationals and 3 of probably the top 5ish players in the league, and finished 6th - just.

The consensus by those pundits was 1, It was a penalty...correct imo, 2, Yellow card at most for the tackle...correct again...imo
VAR is there to help the official, The official only gets to see it once, While the man at Stockley Park has as many views as he likes, If you kick a mans lag while challenging for the ball in the penalty area and the official says...play on, Then the VAR operator should at least send the Ref to the screen...he didn't...as we now know.
Again where was VAR when the Ref shown a red card, I hope when we saw Howard Webb looking at his phone he was watching replays of both the incidents.
And lastly, I hope Barnsley make a report to whoever about the incidents above, They'll not get owt for it as the games gone...a game lost by the persons who are there to be impartial 😡
 
 

I reckon if he stayed à little longer at Everton then straight to Chelsea, he could have relegated both clubs. Now that is impressive.

Can't see Leicester hanging onto Barnes, Vardy, Tielemans, Faes or Maddison, to name a few. Bleak outlook I think. 
Leeds likely to lose Harrison, Rodrigo and Gnonto too. 
Gutted for them both. Not.
