But rarely gets past 5 games or more.

I’ve seen him play much better, think he can do more going forward, passed backwards a lot, could do better with some of his crosses. Just thought it was a frustrating inconsistent performance him which is going to happen. I like him, think he’s got loads of potential, would be great when we’re out of the business plan scenario if we could get him permanently. 
 
As a comparison I thought Oduroh was better than him tonight which I never would’ve thought possible a few weeks back, says more about the rate of Oduroh progression than Roberts who IMO had a bit of an off night by his standards. 

You have to understand what is being asked of them when they’re on the pitch. In possession, Roberts is tucking infield almost like another midfielder. He was primarily a centre back when he got here. He’s being asked to make an overload inside, keep the ball and give it simple. Fozzy is asked to be on the touchline, often very high up the pitch. It’s horses for courses but comparing them using the exact same metrics isn’t fair on either of them. Fozzy just looks more like a traditional full back you are used to seeing.

why do the guys taking corners stick two arms up in the air before hitting the long ones, as if it's some sort of secret squirrel code ? I mean how long would it take for 11 fit and alert young men to learn 'front post' and 'back post' in say Cantonese ? 

The way we play - all possession and seemingly not much penetration. With other teams sitting back and waiting for us to tire and therefore to counter attack … all that means that we get few chances and have to take them when we can … and we get a lot of corners. We HAVE to be better at corners. Statistically, I believe teams score 1 in 25 corners. I’d be surprised if our record is any better than that … but it needs to be. It really does. So I totally agree B4, practice, practice, practice corners. And at the point you think you’ve practiced too much, practice more!!! We need goals from corners and goals from free kicks.

Well I do think our free kicks and corner kicks need working on. As of yet we are missing on set peace spailist I would like us power some close to the ground were most teams expect go over the wall aiming for top right or left corner why not try shooting on the ground.

Aargh. In general I don't like to go back to ex-players. In attacking areas we need pace, hold up ability and goals. Waghorn  doesnt have have any of those three in his recent repertoire. Likeable fella but I think we don't need him even as a free.  Would he even be a snip on a free?

So good to be inside a ground without the depressing talk of administration and losing players.
Almost a party atmosphere.
And loads of Derby en-route from the station.
