I know Steve Nicholson has to pump out article after article, most of it rehashes, and the guys at Radio Derby are in a similar boat, but wouldn't it be nice if these guys could really get some decent information against what is going on, either on or off the record! Ryan Conway tries but then I think the Athletic write 1000-word articles but there is nothing of any substance in them.
    1) On what date do we intend to publish our accounts or wait until the 18th August?
    2) Ask the club directly to comment on whether we are under or over the limit?
    3) What exactly does the extra £30 Million that Pearce has found do to the events?
    4) In Lieu of Pearce or Morris giving any interviews or statements, How about employing an expert (Whose name isn't Keiran) to try and put a fine toothcomb over the club accounts from a straight line amortisation perspective to see if we are in or out of P&L.
    5) Really dig deep on who Morris may be talking to at present and give us a 'breaking news' here.

The old days of journalism have gone. I remember 20 plus years ago - when Gerald Mortimer was the Derby County correspondence, Jim Smith left a game early to go and watch an 'unknown' striker in Europe somewhere. Now GM got into his contacts, and without hours, he had broken the news and had an exclusive on who it was. The club couldn't believe he found out so quickly.
Where has that type of journalism from the local press gone?

I suspect there is already a plan and this is a bit of a tick box but I did it anyway.  Possibly akin to advertising a job externally, because HR says you have to, whilst knowing already you're going to fill it internally with Billy Bob from Accounts. But maybe I'm just cynical in my old age.

Very misleading questionnaire which is going to bring a lot of biased results... but of course I filled it in.

A colleague of mine says it has helped him, once he had a level in his system after 2 - 3 weeks. He didn't read the leaflet, just took them, on the basis that if you read the possible side effects for everything you take you would never take anything. His wife read it instead and he asked not to tell him, but she did anyway. As I think we've all realised here, talking about it does improve things.

At least with these two we're Covid proofing the backline, seeing as they'll all be double jabbed.

When I became depressed I was horrified at how little control my brain had over my body! My imagination ran wild and I really started to sweat the small, insignificant and perceived stuff. I become affected by anything which normally I might laugh off as small stuff. My heart raced, the adrenaline pumped, I felt sick with worry and I tried so hard to use my brain to reason my way through the crisis, but it just doesn't work that way. Anyone who has had no contact with mental illness has no idea what it is like and only those of us who have experienced it for ourselves can understand what sufferers are going through. CBT is excellent, especially in the case of trauma. Where depression is due to a chemical imbalance in the brain then tablets to correct that imbalance can help enormously. Sometimes these tablets have side effects but sometimes they only last for a while until your body adapts to them. (For me, it was yawning!) Side effects don't affect everyone and may be milder in some people. Don't think you're going to get everything listed!
Tablets were the answer for me, but be patient because they can take as long as 4 weeks to kick in. But when they do they can make such a difference if they are the right ones for you. If not go back to the doctor and keep going back until you feel better and I really hope that you feel better soon!

Surely there's some younger defenders out there on frees/loans?! We've already got Curtis to fill the 'seasoned veteran' role at the back. Stearman's awful and Jagielka's nearly 40!
Frees - Tom Lees? Thomas Lam (Finnish, but is a regular part of their national team, so should score enough points)?
Loans - Axel Tuanzebe/Teden Mengi from Manure? Jarrad Branthwaite from Everton? Get George Edmundson back from Rangers?
All would be better options IMO.

No - I think we are good to release the accounts - what they show is a different thing.
This magical £30 Million that Pearce has found also won't help us much. It is in the year ending 2018 but the two previous 3-year cycles before that are still a concern to me.
The three year cycles of 16/17/18, 17/18/19 and 18/19/20 will be perfectly clear. The only thinkg I'm not sure on is whether they extended P&S into a 4th year due to Covid. So actually it may well be 18/19/20/21 may be a P&S period of which the year ending 18 could show us having made a LOT of money.
However, and this is a big thing - just because the P&S shows a lot of money, doesn't mean we actually have the cash to go and start spending money on transfers. It's all paper money, it isn't cash in the bank and when you buy players, you need cash in the bank. Its fairly well documented that has been a big issue for us.
    Cash is king.

i feel very conflicted when it comes to JHB.  Like Katy "Horse Faced ****" Hopkins, 90% of the reactionary crap she spouts is done for shock value and clicks/listens as she tries to stay relevant and employed.  But unlike Hopkins, she's got a definite MILF thing going on.  Definitely confuses both my heads...

I don’t know it, but the land remediation costs of a former gas works would be huge. More straightforward to offer the site to another ‘contaminator’ selling pollutant and noxious liquid. Clever to tack a new petrol station on too.

At 24 the guy's hardly a nipper, is he? If his moral compass is still so wildly off the mark at this point, it might just be that rather from being in his formative years (LOL), the guy is just a banker.
As for losing his job, I really couldn't care less. They obviously knew who Whitty is, they knew he wasn't a willing participant and they put their hands on him all the same. With a high-profile figure like this, if you are too stupid to factor in that there are likely to be ramifications when you film yourself, then compound the error by sharing the vid for likes, you deserve everything you get. If his employers had not sacked him for this little escapade, they'd probably have had to fire him at some point anyway, as he's clearly dumb as a sack of rocks.

This is the main point isn't it? They are a private company and absolutely free to sack him if they want.
His specific actions aren't why he was sacked - you don't get sacked for getting a bit drunk and annoying a stranger in a park
But when that stranger is a well-recognised public figure and those actions become national news and your face is everywhere, the company has a solid case in employment law for you bringing their name into disrepute
    https://www.davidsonmorris.com/bringing-the-company-into-disrepute/
Estate Agents are the professional income-generating front of the business. They are the salesmen. I wouldn't want this guy fronting a business that I ran after doing something so idiotic that it became national news

You really shouldn’t be so hesitant to take the drug. What is holding you back? It might take a little while to feel the benefits and a tweak or two of the dosage or type might perhaps be necessary, but taken in a controlled way with the the other things you are doing will be of great benefit to you.  If you had heart or kidney problems, etc., I am sure you would taking the pills your doctor recommended.  The brain is just an organ too - it sometimes just s needs a bit of help too to make sure it is functioning to the best of its abilities.
