Been told the budget for the summer is good from recent sales and that there is no need to sell any players to buy. I’m quite hopeful 🙂 

I'm expecting a "Nigel Clough-era" type transfer window even with restrictions removed... 1 player bought for between £1m-£1.5m... maybe a couple of lower fees... the rest freebies and loans.

Sympathy for Leeds when they will charge away fans almost £50 if they are in the Champ next season ? Bit of sympathy for us away members who will get shafted when we go to Norwich on a Thursday night and pay £47 .

Listening to James Collins on the efl podcast, it seem all the players were in on Tuesday and he seemed to hint at that they maybe found out there faith. We could get the retained list today or tomorrow potentially?

I think this is a real bind the lower leagues are in. Almost totally dependent on ticket revenue to keep the lights on means an increase in prices with the poor state of the economy means for many working-class families football is now a luxury they can't afford. Not blaming the increase on the club, the ticket prices remain reasonable and as I live a good bit away and oftentimes work until 7.00pm I can't get a season ticket anyway, but I do feel for those families who are essentially priced out of maybe the one luxury they had.

Some of us knew different.  Plymouth would have been relegated ages ago if it wasn't for him. If he isn't scoring goals he's making them.

As long as we don't bumble into the season with him being 1st, or even 2nd, choice then we can live with that.

There were a few determined anti-Warne trolls that even I found tiresome but equally some pious, holier than thou Warne obsessives who were incapable of answering honest concerns about Warne without deliberately missing the point and/or attacking the poster in a dishonest attempt to discredit arguments.
Not entirely sure why you're taking the bullying suggestion so personally either.

I'm betting we signed just as many players as most clubs over the past 2 seasons.
Last summer, we made roughly the same number of signings as the league's average, but had a quiet January. We also had a quiet January last season.
According to Transfermarket, out of the 31 clubs to have played in L1 over the past 2 seasons, we've actually made the joint 3rd least signings (36) with only Wednesday and Bolton (both 32) signing less.
3 clubs signed at least 60 players and 10 other clubs signing over 50 over the course of 4 transfer windows.

A lot of fans on here described Beilik as the “£10 million Beast that guarantees promotion “.  He thought he was too good for L1 . Wouldn’t want him back for free at £35k a week .

It'll be either a team relegated from the Premier or the losers of the play off final, I'm sure that we got promoted teams when we were in that situation over the years.

I'd say save Forest and Leeds until we've found our feet, the new players have settled in and we're moving up the table 🐏

Hourihane, Waghorn and Bird are going or gone.
TJJ and Ebou loans finished. Robinson looks like a loan out waiting to happen if retained.
That leaves 19 outfield players, with questions marks over Gayle, Smith, Foz, Collo, Barkhuisen for contract renewals. Sibley and Thomo surely deserve an extension?
7-11 outfield players required in my opinion, and I'd be looking at 10-11 depending on who we think we can get. Plus the Wildsmith situation to resolve. Going to be a busy summer.

Sums up my thoughts. He was good Feb-April (after Adams came in) but he'd been average-to-crap August to November, apart from his immense performance against Blackpool.

This is just reminding me that Ebou made everyone else better.....

Sell who? The only player we have with value is Cashin!
But no, other than us being competitive and not there to make up the numbers, we don’t know. And those statements don’t really tell you much either as that’s different to different people. 
It’s a fair ask though, do we think we will spend more than £1m on anyone? I’m dubious.
