Yeah - Footballers need, to some extent, to be instinctive, they need to play in the style they have been accustomed. To a large extent, of course, they need to be able to follow instructions and adapt to a style of play but there is a point at which a player isn't suitable for a style of play. I don't know if that's the case here but it certainly looks like it.
I'm not a 'sack the manager' sort of person but I don't feel like we're going in the right direction, consistently, at the moment.

Looks like a decent line up but then I always think that! I do think that Amir, in spring conditions in England, will take plenty of wickets.

I would like to apologise to what appears to be a good number of my fellow Rams fans on these pages.  I have driven for about 5 hours today, spent £40 on petrol, £25 on a ticket and another £10 odd on sundries like the best pie I’ve had in ages, parking and a programme. The weather was fantastic, the scenery only matched by the Peak District and the ground was a proper old football ground with, from my seat, the wierdest view in football.
Oh, and although it’s hard to gather from these pages, my, our, team won. 2-0 away from home against a team in good form according to their manager, late of this parish, and with some excellent individual performances, an improved overall team performance, in front of a vociferous and supportive away following.

We're 'county' in name only, the city and the club are inextricably linked. I don't think you would describe the towns of Buxton, Glossop or Chesterfield as DCFC heartlands!! I appreciate you may not like the poem (I love it) but you can't separate the club and the city.

Exactly this, unfortunately you can’t force an atmosphere - the best seasons at Pride Park have had circumstances surrounding it. 11 point season, 21 point deduction season and 13/14 where the team was flying. 
It seems that if we aren’t completely without expectation, being ducked by EFL/ownership or absolutely flying and smashing teams that it’s not going to be an outstanding atmosphere. As someone who has been to a lot of away games, it’s no different to any other team. It’s one of the better atmospheres in the country when all things are equal. Expectation weighs heavy on the club though.

As someone who has spent all but 4 years of my life in a different county (Staffordshire), I love the poem.

I’d put my money on Mohammad Amir being leading wicket taker if he's here for the whole season.
We’ve been a bit unfortunate with the bowling attack this season. It felt a bit short to start with, but Lakmal never got going (again), Aitchison got injured, Conners got injured and has only recently started looking good again, Chappell’s been carrying an injury for a while, Lamb got injured and still can't bowl. The home pitch giving the bowlers absolutely nothing to work with doesn't help either. 

I really don't get this wrist slashing. Yes it was a dour affair and atm we look like a mid table outfit. But hasn't 17 managers since 2007 shown you anything. Hire and fire doesn't work does it. We are still shopping in Poundland for players and that's where we're at. Sacking the current management team won't name the slightest bit of difference....

Quite - We can't just keep churning through managers because of some fans' lack of patience. Finanace alone makes this a difficult proposition but we're also not exactly an attractive propostion if we get rid of another one....

Those stats show practically identical xG despite playing a whole half nearly with 10 men, with a performance even the manager wasn’t happy with first half hour. Doesn’t show the chasm of difference some have been implying on here. Bolton had 71% of the ball and barely created anything. Can’t also deny the material impact the ref had on this game.
Also - just a reminder - we’re only SIX GAMES into the season in what is a wide open league with no stand out teams. We have ELEVEN new players so to throw last year into it is largely irrelevant.
