If only he had £millions to deposit from a huge cocaine smuggling empire the EFL would have approved him.

Brilliant. Proper footballers, proper tackling and passing and the best kit ever (black socks with white top trim might trump it slightly)

Doesn’t really matter as long as we can beat Forest 3 touchdowns to nil twice a season ?

Reggie Greenwood reacted to Ghost of Clough in EFL appeal
Spot on.
So much has happened over the past couple of years that I completely forgot about this point. I had assumed, like charge 1, that the EFL were arguing we would have failed P&S without it.
Baswd on the Decision Document from the original hearing, charge 1 specifically claims the stadium sale meant we avoided failing P&S.
However, charge 2 only claims that by having non-compliant accounts, we have breached P&S rules.
The LAP have concluded that the accounts are non-compliant so a punishment is required for breaching rules.
The logical punishment to me is a fine and resubmission of the P&S figures using a striaght-line method. The reason a points deduction isn't warranted is because no on field benefit was achieved.

Quality player oozed class and scored a perfectly legitimate goal in the FA Cup semi final v Manure. Pity no VAR then

All the more creditable when you hear the names of the Spurs players, Greaves, Mullery, Gilzean etc.

Point taken on QPR.
He is paying for players, it can be wrapped up in any way, shape or form but at the end of the day he is paying out of his own pocket. I’m sure it came out he was losing £3m a month not long back and that is down to players wages and player transfer fees.
He could have come to Derby and only spent any income that we generated, however I’m pretty sure that fans would be treating him like Mike Ashley is treated by Newcastle fans.
The truth is fans want investment and the EFL don’t allow that. It’s not even fair competition against those with parachute payments.

I’m not quite sure why there is so much furore about this particular snippet today on social media, all of this has been known since the IDC decision.
It made comment to the club referencing Transfermarkt and it wasn’t the only way they calculated values, it’s not new news.

Because you were being personally abusive in your reply to me I would imagine. It’s the Mods doing their work.
No it isn’t like me to post unsubstantiated comments, whatever you choose to believe. I have no problem admitting that l misremembered something, I have a problem with your unnecessary language. I said ‘ sorry I couldn’t remember, try Google’ or words to that effect, if you find that patronising well I do apologise.
l posted a quote from Wiki above. Make of it what you want.

He made himself unable to fulfil his contract, should have worn his seatbelt! We won the employment tribunal.

I also heard Simon Jordan and Trevor Sinclair debating it earlier on. Simon Jordan was spot on and Trevor Sinclair sounded like a right wally (which all makes sense now that he’s been charged with drunk driving before).
I hope Derby take this through the ‘real’ legal system and not the EFL’s bent system.
Derby are a business at the end of the day and Keogh couldn’t do his job after making a mistake off his own back. He should live with the consequences of that. As someone else posted, imagine if they killed somebody that night. I bet he wouldn’t be getting all of the compensation if that was the case.
There were not guarantees for Derby that he would ever play again yet they offered to keep him on a reduced contract until he was fit, that is extremely fair in my eyes.
Keogh going for the whole value of his contract also doesn’t sit right with me. I despise the guy now and everything he ever did in a Derby shirt is undone.

I think even Keogh must really be aware that he was in part responsible for his situation ie badly injured and unable to do his work. Call it reckless or negligent or stupidity, there would for 99.9% of the working population been at least some consequences to his actions.
Instead he actually profits from it. Contract paid ion full plus additional earnings from 2 other clubs.
I loved Keogh as a player and Captain but this incident is beyond belief.
