Apologies for resurrecting this thread, however, i got into a discussion on a FB group regarding Arthur and the high esteem he is held in by Rams fans who were lucky enough to witness his management time at Derby.  I understand that Arthur shuns publicity but i really think the club needs to make a concerted effort to get him to PP as a guest of honour and to allow us all to show our appreciation to him.  I think it would be a real special occasion (get a lump in my throat just thinking about it).
All too often we end up showing our respects with a minutes applause when they are gone, would really love to do something now.  I wonder if Mr Clowes could persuade him to make an appearance?  Do people think it would be worth persuing?

I take it you didn't watch last season's Championship Play Off Final

I have to say, as a non-regular away fan these days (no away membership so can only get when large allocations), i was surprised at the amount of hostile young supporters we have these days.  Very drunk and many seemed to be under the influence of other substances as well.  Makes it slightly uncomfortable when taking my 12 year old away from home unfortunately.  I'm all for fans having a few beers before the match, i have always enjoyed the away days but it all feels a bit uneasy nowadays.

Allegedly, in the South Stand certain genders and younger people get very good signals on their phones throughout the match. Perhaps that’s the place to be.

I don’t agree with that assessment, we started really well and deserved the lead. We’ve managed the game poorly since scoring and have paid the price but I don’t think we’ve been poor all night

Thanks to the person who recommended Suburra Blood on Rome. 8 episodes in and enjoying it a lot. 
It would be unfair to Gomorrah but it's a lot like Gomorrah. 
Doesn't quite hit those lofty heights but if you like Italian gang stuff you'll enjoy it. Infinitely better than Ganglands the French drama I dragged myself through recently. 

If you have seen the news today about the US lawyer Alex Murdaugh being found guilty of murdering his wife and son in South Carolina, the whole story is on Netflix (not including the trial) in Murdaugh Murders: A Southern Scandal.  Worth a watch if you like true crime documentaries.

I just hope this doesn't put off the people who were attacked from following the Rams. I'm similar to notts ram as in not going to many away games these days and I thought the same at the Liverpool match. I was going away in the eighties and nineties so don't consider myself a shrinking violet but I don't think I've seen so many people off their nut as that night

Plus our away form at top of the table teams is appalling.

The bloke that threw the first punch is mid to late fifties and his son did the headbutt that caused the cut.
