It was 35 degrees plus, and they barely had the ball in the second half. Barnsley had a couple go down with cramp, and ran out of a bit of steam in the last ten; we also managed the game well in that last period which was good to see.

Game of two halves as the old cliche goes. Encouraging signs in the first half and Hourihane is a class act. The team will get better and fitness levels will improve. As for Collins, he’s getting in the right positions and will start to convert his chances sooner than later. The important thing is we stick behind every single player who wears the shirt.???

As far as I am concerned, there is nothing impressive or remotely interesting about a club with billionaire owners winning football matches. Employ the best manager - buy the best players in the world - win lots of trophies. All very predictable really....

Bad time for the club, very poor team, and Zak played very well in midfield and kept us up with his performances and the goal against Watford.

Kev was playing  midfield in one of the poorest Rams teams ever. Despite age still showed his class and without his quality we would have gone down. Obviously wasn’t the Kev of old but helped us out of a spot. Won’t hear a word against him.

I wouldn't say we were any more wasteful in front of goal than other teams. It was just felt that way because we created very few chances. And if we didn't score one then we'd end up shipping a goal at the other end. 
Today we created a lot of chances but were wasteful. You can't miss those chances and get away with it. But that's football, it happens. It happens to the best teams sometimes.
This is a new team and it's only the second game. You're looking for something that isn't there. But if this is the case 2 months down the line then you may have an argument.

Good luck jack stration go and learn of paul Simpson and come back a better player for us next season.

I remember thinking Pereyplotkins was the best player on the pitch when I saw him in a pre-season friendly. Was absolutely over the moon when we signed him...

Don't kid yourselves that we can strengthen by letting our best players leave. Worked with Kevin Wilson, because we had Bobby Davison. Jason Knight is different gravy to anything we could get to replace him.
