It's banter mate. Don't let it bother you. We don't actually shag sheep either. Mostly.

Any of the 3 results in that game will look good if we win our game.

Can we all agree to disown this t***? No matter the footballing advantage this may bring, this is disgusting behaviour that really shows us all up.

No we haven't. It's a funny division with a lot of very limited teams, so a form team can get on a mad run and boy are our sides on a run. I think we've given you too big of a start, but on what I've seen so far your mob and ours are the pick of the division. I said three weeks ago that I thought you'd run away with it and our hope was top catch Plymouth. Thanks for helping out with that plan yesterday...hopefully see you lads back in the Championship next year however it pans out.

The difference being is that you spent money you didn’t have trying to get to the land of milk and honey, then rather than accept the consequences, fudged your books for years and tried every trick in the book to get off the hook. Even now, how much did your new owner pay HMRC? 25p in the pound? Many would suggest you got off extremely lightly. You’ll probably be back in the championship by next season.
Meanwhile, we largely lived within ours means in the championship, selling academy players for enormous profits every year to balance the books (as observed earlier in this thread) before reaping the benefit of absolute managerial brilliance. A once in a lifetime season under  Steve Cooper.
Weve only spent the money we have after getting to the PL. If that results in survival, it’ll be well worth it from the revenue we’ll bring in.

Yeah. Had to find it on the full 90 on Rams tv...the spin by the touchline was jaw droppingly good. If he starts scoring and we keep a fit squad, we're going to be unstoppable. There's an amazing player in there if he gets the belief.

Very much so. Strangely I had just been saying to my lads during the first half how I missed us having a marauding centre half like Mark Wright bringing the ball forward down the centre when who should appear!
Loved what he said and I’m sure Cashin and Dobbin must have heard his praise as Dobbin went up through the gears and Cash started bringing the ball out more.
I’ve  got to say Cash and Fozzy are as good a pairing as I’ve seen for a long time.

    Hi lads, Spurs fan here!

I watch quite a lot of our u21 games so hopefully I can give a fair assessment of where he's at and what he might bring you.
He's a very versatile player, he mainly plays CM or DM but has filled in at LB (our u21s dont have a natural LB) a lot and played at LM. Conte even started him as a false 9 in place of Kane in our post-worldcup friendlies but before you get your hopes up he's not a natural striker! IMO like a lot of creative players his best role is possibly AM in a free role but he's not played there much recently because our u21 team has quite a lot of forwards to accommodate. He was loaned out to Pompey a couple of seasons ago and I believe the club have had loan offers for him pretty much every window since but they've been blocked by the club for various reason which has frustratingly stalled his development a bit. He's got great range of passing and not sure how many of them are on youtube but he's scored some unbelievable direct freekicks over the years in the youth teams. The youth coaches have said he's one of the smartest players they've coached and according to the Pompey manager when he was there he's very easy to coach, "You only have to tell him an instruction once. He's like a sponge and you'll tell him something once and then he'll be doing it. He's so easy to coach, a coach's dream."

Hopefully it all goes ahead and he does well for you and maybe he can go on loan again with you next season in the championship ?

Lost, and lost comfortably. Slightly spawny goals for them, but I reckon they had another gear if they'd needed it. They kept so compact that we got strangled out of it. It wasn't the lack of energetic press that did us, it was that they had our measure whatever we tried.
We learned nothing new. Collins second touch is far too often a tackle. Cashin is a brilliant defender for a L1 team. McGoldrick gives us something no-one else can. Etc etc.
One thing I would take away apart from praying for Bird and McGoldrick not to be out too long...we really could use a forward tomorrow.

I totally agree but Forest Green couldn't play through our press.  West ham could.  That shouldn't surprise anyone.
Whatever you think of their performances this year west hams players are miles better than ours.   Better technically, fitter, faster, stronger.
The timing of the goals meant they were able to sit back and keep us at arm's length.   It didn't look great for us and we never looked like laying a glove on them but you can't just put that on our players.  The quality of the opponent comes into it too.
