Well it was a bit frantic and scrappy at times but that’s what was needed , we chased every ball ,won tackles ,went after them the minute we had the ball and never gave them a minute when they had it ,,,,, result ? , they never had time to settle , get back in shape , have a breather or build confidence thinking this lot just knock it around they’re own Half and don’t hurt us ,
job done ,first away win , two away goals , clean sheet and no heart stopping ffs moments gifting them the easy opportunity to hurt us ,
would much rather risk giving away a goal trying to score than trying to look all fancy Dan in front of our own goal ,
get this players fitter and we match anybody in this division for a fight and better most with quality ,
can’t wait for next Saturday in the east stand ,,,, get into them

I just want to say how lucky you are to have Paul Warne as manager. I've supported the millers for 69 years. Obviously, I've seen managers come and go during that period. As far as I'm concerned, and many other fans Warne is the best manager we've had.
Like Derby fans we went through some dark times. Administration points deducted, lost our ground, forced to play in Sheffield in an athletic stadium. No atmosphere, 4 years in the 4th division.
Paul has many qualities. Excellent staff management, a workaholic. He's articulate, honest and will live and breathe Derby County.
I thank him for all the memories, 3 Wembley wins 3 promotions and I wish him well and as a consequence wish the Rams well. I've never had a second team, but for the first time Derby County will be my second team. I look forward to seeing Paul succeed.
Hopefully Derby will be promoted and we survive in the championship and look forward to see you at the New York stadium.
    All the best.

    Hi guys
My nephew, Jake passed away on August 12th aged 23. Despite being dealt a bad hand he enjoyed life to the full possessing a sharp, dry wit and a fondness for dressing well - the other thing we had in common ? was our love for Derby County!
Many of you will recognise Jake, a life-long season ticket holder in the West Stand attending matches with his Dad.
His family are orchestrating a minutes applause at the 23rd minute during the Port Vale home match on Saturday October 8th.
Extended family will be in attendance and there will be a brief write up about Jake in the match day programme.
These tributes are becoming more common, but I think that because they are often not official and fan-led they are even more poignant - and it would be a great gesture for one of our own.
Assistance in spreading the word from members of this forum would be so very much appreciated.

I was at the meeting, too, as a representative of RamsTrust Board (elected on Wednesday night!)
Obviously my first meeting, but I agree that there appears to be a much more positive culture within the club from what has been reported on previously, we chatted together for quite a long time after the formal meeting was held. It felt like the building of new relationships.
Apart from a short embargo to allow us all to sleep last night, we were told we could report anything that was said and there would be an open atmosphere. No questions were frowned upon or dismissed and dare I say it, there was a lot more dialogue and many less "speeches" than I witnessed from the previous filmed meetings.
One of the things I am very pleased about personally is the possibility of the reinstatement of Fans Forums. Like many things mooted, it might not happen overnight but the club is moving in a positive direction. There's still a lot to do but a promising start.
    Bring on the safe standing!

Why should he be the one telling Curtis about the new manager?

LR hasn't done enough to justify the job permanently, I guess, but we were so close to winning in every game bar Lincoln. Could easily have been smashing it at the top of the league. Can't help but feel disappointed for him.

Performance levels have been a touch better than I expected in big spells. A combination of poor finishing and individual errors have lead to the league position being worse than I expected given the signings we made.
Lets be right, a bit of composure in a couple of key moments and we're sitting top 3 and bursting with optimism.

I don't blame LR, tbh. No striker = very few goals. Collins may have it in him, but he's been anonymous for long, long stretches until he pops up to fluff a chance every half hour or so. I've seen nothing yet. Limited options. The lad from Sheffield hasn't really had a go, but he's done bugger all to suggest he's a professional footballer. I'd go with Dobbin up top on Saturday. At least he'll threaten to nip in behind and perhaprs create some space that way. If we had a threat at the top of the pitch, it would make everything else flow a bit, IMO.

That was bloody awful on many levels. The striker is anonymous, the midfield one paced, the best player out of position, the whole less than the sum of it's parts.
Needed a good deadline day and didn't get it. First sign of LR showing some stress too.
Worried it'll get nasty if we don't pick up against that Couhig Bamford's mob.
Time to pull together, and give the lads every support.
