trappatoni got a reaction from NeilH1884 in End of season celebrations.
Thought the club handled it well. Obviously there are mixed opinions about pitch invasions - personally I'm all for them - it's a chance for fans to really feel part of the club not just customers. It was good to see all the younger fans ready to run on. Everyone seemed to enjoy it - even the stewards - if people don't want to run on surely the spectacle beats a lap of honour?

Think the defence is good enough as it is. I must be watching a different team to some of you as Sibley has been as good as Wilson on the other side and better than Elder - no way should we be spending the budget replacing him when without doubt he'd sign a new contract.
Centre mid it's not rocket science we need Adams or similar and a replacement for Bird in his attacking role.
We need at least one striker. Collins has had a better season but an option with more pace. Not ruling out keeping Gayle - if we look at league 1 this year two of the best returns have come from Rhodes and Chris Martin so veteran forwards can work but ideally someone a bit younger.

Not really nervous, these days I enjoy the wins and forget about the defeats, no point in letting football spoil your weekend - though failure tomorrow might test that! When I was younger I'd have been more hyped up.
Getting up early to take the dogs out for 90 minutes then getting picked up at 10 to go to the pub before the game.

Not sure that's his ideal. He's on record as saying he likes pace up top - but he likes pressing players too. I reckon his ideal would be a Jamie Vardy type - a threat in behind but with an engine too. I don't deny that a Collins type is more likely what he'll settle for though.

trappatoni got a reaction from Nishfan in RamsTV next season
Yeah I am renewing but the lads I go with travel a fair distance and as a result often miss non Saturday games as they can't make it after work. After a season of this I could see them questioning whether it's worth renewing again - and if they didn't I doubt I'd want to go on my own.
My son is similar in that he works shifts so if it's not a 3pm saturday ko he often misses out - if he's missing 50% of the games why buy a season ticket?
Thinking about it i could just share a ticket with him and go when he can't. I don't want to pay match by match as prices are silly

I'm in favour of pitch invasions, ever since that wonderful day as a 10 year old boy at the Baseball ground, high fiving Ron Willems and having a cuddle with Chris Powell!
I talk about that day every single time I see a pitch invasion elsewhere. I think about it now and then for no reason.
It's a top 5 moment in my entire life and I like to think there are youngsters at Pride park who in 28 years time be looking back on the Carlise match in the same way I do that Crystal Palace match.
It doens't have to be ruined by thuggery, it can be magical

I'd bet on it being this. The club cannot endorse any encroachment on the pitch for all sorts of reasons (ground regulations, league regulations, insurance, safety etc etc) but I'd guess they're probably not going to go hard on a mass celebration of promotion, however, if anyone does anything violent or stupid they'll get what they deserve for it.

trappatoni got a reaction from InstaRam in Sonny Bradley
I don't think he's been slagged off that much but he's been a disappointment given he came from the Championship. In a back 3 he'd be 5th choice if Fozzy and Nyambe were fit - even on Saturday he didn't look as assured as Nelson and Cashin but he scored two goals and if he did that every week he'd get a free pass for his defensive lapses.

trappatoni got a reaction from Pompeyoldgit in Pompy fan here. We drew with Bolton today. Rest is down to you guys.
I'd like Pompey to go up, Bolton not so much, there just seems an undertone around their club that they deserve it more than the other contenders. This may come from tne manager - one of those who in his own mind never deserves to lose a game and isn't shy in telling everyone.

trappatoni got a reaction from Crewton in Match Thread: Leyton Orient (h)
I agree - but I did have a glance at their forum and most of their fans were of the opinion he's doing well for us because that's his level. I hope that's the general feeling around that club as it can't harm our chances of signing him.
Think he only has a year left on his contract too so they'll have to decide whether to listen to offers, let his contract run down or extend based on what he's done at another club at a lower level.

I hope he proves himself because chances are he's here next season and he'll be on decent money. If we go up, no chickens being counted, if Warne sticks with a back 3 then Nelson, Cash, Nyambe, Bradley, Fozzy, Rooney would probably do for the championship - there's enough quality and cover there with a few capable of playing full back in a 4.
