Olympiakos want him, so he’s joining them via the tradesmen’s entrance.

So we have got until 30th January to get this damn virus under control so we can get down to Pride Park Stadium with a full crowd to give Chrissy Martin the standing ovation he deserves for everything he has done for this club over the last seven years.

£5 a bargain. Club needs it and it’s less than a packet of fags

You can just purchase the weekend away games if its not on Sky.
Think it's pretty decent that midweek away games are included withing a Season Ticket package. They could have easily not included those either.

Crawley finally out after as elegant an innings as I've ever seen from an Englishman. The long, long wait for a natural #3 is over it would seem. When you look at how he plays you'd think there's nothing in his technique that you could offer up as a potential point of failure.
Hats off to Jos too. I'd written him off long ago as a test cricketer and while I still think there are better keepers out there, in his batting he's shown a immense discipline in the last two tests. Also to the Pakistani team who showed real class with nearly all of them jogging over to congratulate Zak as he left the crease. That was really nice to see.

Think everything seeks to undermine them.
Managers/players use them as an excuse rather than look at the game as a whole
Pundits earn their money slagging off people who actually have a proper job
Commentators use them to create drama
And VAR. The saviour of referees. The one introduction that makes it so referees don't have to arrogantly defend their decisions has been so poorly implemented that all it really does is draw even more attention to the specific points managers and players can use as an excuse.
There are so many things that don't help them. If VAR is going to exist it should be for a ref to review. Not a group decision. Not a national scandal.
The game is full of divers and cheats. So when somebody dives and cheats we blame the referee for falling for it. How about we blame the cheat and start punishing them. Have a review panel deal with that instead of holding hands in the VAR office. Get rid of cheating on such a huge scale and refereeing gets easier.

Every ducking game I see so many foul throws. Commentators say naff all and so rare they are pulled up. Really does my nipples in

and it's raining. Hoping for play later but what a typically British start to the series.
It did give time for a very powerful interview with Michael Holding, Nasser Hussein and Ebony Rainford-Brent.

Frank hasn't let me down tonight. I know it won't be a popular opinion on here but I am really pleased for Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp. Worthy champions.

Not brilliant replys if im honest . Hes an injured sportsman and however that injury occurred he was an top player for this club. I hope his rehabilitation goes well and he goes on to have a few more seasons at the top. shame its not with us.

All I can say is, if the wealthy as individuals were to donate money for every good cause that warrants it, they would quickly be not wealthy.
That's why I support a fully funded NHS which makes sure that the cost of treating all good causes is shared equally and fairly.
But that's a conversation for the politics thread...

A bit like this thread in fact. Can you believe there’s people arguing their point which is a supposition with another person who’s convinced their supposition is fact? Yet they all admit they do not know the facts of what they’re arguing about. ?

I think we're all forgetting one very important thing from the night in question... remember some sources initially reported the accident happened at a roundabout... a roundabout at the junction of Burley Lane & the A6... an invisible roundabout perhaps? Or maybe a roundabout with mystical powers... unexplained phenomena... The Bermuda Roundabout, if you will!
A roundabout without exits perhaps... round and round we all go, where will it end? Does anybody know!

Maybe “Trialist” was a sneaky reference to the court proceedings that came about after the incident?
