I think there are legitimate questions to be asked around various things, and there is a right way to do that. The next Supporters Charter Group meeting is in March and we've already asked RamsTrust members for questions to put forward, as we do every meeting,  and you always did too @David when you and @Boycie were there.
I don't think the kickback on every club decision is as strong on here as on X, which does seem to attract knee-jerk reactions. We debate both sides on here and you can usually see the middle ground winning out.
My take in recent months is that Stephen Pearce is open and approachable to questions, except on areas where his hands are tied due to legal restrictions.
Many forum members were at the last Fans Forum, and he quickly closed down discussion on those areas, whilst answering all other questions.
Radio Derby haven't had the same access to date as we, the supporters, so I'm not surprised they've asked him for an interview.
Not in the know at all, but I'd expect the transfer window and finances to feature. Our detailed accounts are due out at the end of March, so maybe a heads up on how things are looking.

Not sure which side requested this interview, Pearce or Radio Derby, or even the reasons behind it.
It does not take an hour to say I'm legally bound to not discuss anything that the fans would like to know, and that could be with a number of parties be it Mel Morris, the EFL, David Clowes, Quantuma etc. This will be completely normal within businesses. Frustrating from our side, yet you have to understand that we will never be privy to the "real inside story".
It will, I imagine, be a repeat from the fans forum which will only reignite the debate of whether or not he should be at the club, is that really necessary at this stage of the season?
Forgive me if this discussion is still taking place on other platforms and Pearce/Radio Derby felt it was important to respond, attempt again to draw a line and move on. Which on this forum regardless of which side of the fence you sit on over his current employment status, would appear many have as I haven't seen his name popping up at all.
Even the transfer window the focus was more if anything on David Clowes, not the CEO that will have been doing the deals.
With regards to the apology for that period which some are looking for, you could put a case forward that either he feels the club did nothing wrong, retrospective rule changes show this and does not want to reopen a war with the EFL when we now have a positive relationship. Or an apology would show weakness, and fuel the theory that he was nothing more than a yes man to Mel Morris.
I guess it will be something we all pick which to believe and roll with it as it's unlikely any, anytime soon at least, we will have any definitive answers or apologies.
Saying this, I will still watch as when the CEO of your club talks, I think we has fans should be respectful and listen to what he has to say even if he says nothing at all.
For the record, it's no secret I had semi regular conversations with Mel Morris, some may think I'm sat on some juicy inside information and knew this was all coming, which I can hand on heart say I'm not and that famous "NDA meeting" was not full of the details people think were shared.
Some of you will remember the shitshow I started on Twitter, that was a genuine belief that the NDA was there simply to cover any comments like Michael Jackson is a nonce for example which would obviously make the headlines once the press got hold of it.
Concerns over signing one were raised prior to the meeting and was subsequently told, would never happen again. At the time little did I know where the club was heading!
To this day the meeting minutes which were to be signed off by the club have not been sent, if I'm honest I would have to go through old emails to try and locate them, which even if I could the NDA would still be in place between myself and the club and can't imagine a scenario where they will be signed off now, especially when it would appear Stephen Pearce is looking to draw that line in the sand.
I personally think from my own conversations that there was a genuine honest belief that the club had done no wrong, we just found a different method of accounting which the EFL rules did not at the time forbid. We were being targeted by the EFL due the public criticism over TV deals and other outside interference which was a personal battle rather than the club itself. Which you could look at the way other clubs have been punished recently and possibly say, yeah, we were a little hard done by compared to others right.
That was just the impression I got for what it's worth.
Any conversations I had were nothing more than how are you and thoughts on the EFL, which you can probably guess.
IF and I say IF as I have only spoken to Stephen Pearce once with regards to advertising on the forum and have no idea where he stands on this, IF he also shares that genuine belief with his financial background, I can understand why he would not want to publicly reopen the wounds and create a new war between Pearce and EFL.
I wasn't going to go down this path when creating a reply, I guess I was maybe predicting potential replies given my position and "relationship" at the time, probably should have just stayed out of it, came this far now to waste this post.
Like Pearce truth be told, I feel that drawing the line is probably the right thing to do and focus on the here and now which when you look at the table is a fantastic position with the opportunity today to strengthen.

Well I hope tomorrow and for the remaining games the crowd and stay with the team whatever happens. It’s not about the performances now (although we would like one), it’s about getting over the line by hook or by crook. Boo at the end of the game and whinge and whine on here if it’s s*** but back the lads during the game.

Just got back from a holiday in the Canary Islands and managed to keep abreast of what has been happening despite dodgy Wi-Fi in the hotel. Results went our way on Wednesday and at the airport yesterday (with good Wi-Fi) I had a look at the Peterborough Fans Forum LondonRoad.Net to gauge what the fans reaction was to their mini-slump
Generally, very surprised it just like on here, one iffy result and it’s all doom and gloom. “Automatics are over”, “lucky if we make the playoffs” “no team spirit” “only 2 or 3 of the players are trying” “the manager (Ferguson) is at fault)” “ he isn’t proactive enough with his substitutions” etc etc etc. Ring any bells!
Title also appears that they have a few financial problems they need to clear up, with loans etc to buy their ground. This a Club, everyone said a few weeks ago was the best they had seen this season. What a difference 2 or 3 games can make at this stage of the season.
interesting and worth a read , if you have some spare time.
just shows this Forum is like most others, with members having hugely different views, levels of expectation and self doubt and confidence. Some who won’t be shifted from their views and others with more realism and balance (or naivety).
    Keep the faith.

I can't believe that you can't believe the sentiment on here. I have been on this forum for a few years now and in the last couple of years, the levels of sympathy and patience have nose dived.
Maybe partly due to the administration and the farce that followed etc.
But it really has become toxic in places.

Can’t believe the sentiment on here about a talented young player who is desperate to prove himself but whose career has been blighted by injuries.
Warne has seen a player in training who exhibits amazing skill. He has shown faith in TJJ because if he could get fit, he’d be a great addition.
It didn’t work out but surely the hope is that this young man realises his dreams?

We're getting to the interesting stage of the season, where it's not about the opposition but about ourselves. The teams who are successful will be the ones coping with the pressure best.
The opposition may be fighting relegation and giving it everything, defying their lowly position, teams with nothing to play for may play with the freedom of pressure and play better for it, other opponents at the top will be going for it.
If I've learnt anything from all the failed years of trying to get into the premier, it is that you can't pre judge how the opposition will play on any day.

As I said to someone else above, the joke only works if you embellish a little. You need to understand that jokes only really work and can be funny if you don’t overly focus on facts or reality.
For instance, you might be asked why the chicken crossed the road. Now there could be any number of amusing answers, but unless you actually know what the chicken is thinking the reality is you have no real idea why the chicken might be choosing to cross the road. Unless of course it is being chased by a fox, but that isn’t amusing either.

Banning would be more extreme than the comments.
I just wish it didn't feel like I was logging on to a Derby County forum where the club were in 10th place and 6 points outside the top 6.
That's pretty much what it feels like.

You must have seen the comments I'm referring to, barely spend much time on here myself yet I've seen the signings are crap, the league is crap, we should be walking it. I'm not just pulling random crap out my arse here and it's not merged with comments from Twitter/X, don't even read replies to anything or view hashtags.
This forum, the comments are there, even the Forest forum has referenced said comments.
The Charlton TV co commentator, he was referencing fan podcasts, not sure which one(s)
The reaction to even drawing a game is way way over the top, we can literally not drop any points whatsoever without Warne having his balls under threat from the pitchforks.

    Seemingly outplayed by Buxton?

adult football is so so different to academy football. Most of these lads are nowhere near first team ready yet (and that’s no criticism) so the constant hankering for them to be given first team minutes right now is frustrating.

Evening Rams, first time poster on here and a Charlton fan with a bit of a soft spot for Derby.
I just wanted to share my thoughts, vlog, and get some ideas for the fast approaching away tie (first visit). Unfortunately, I lived in Nottingham for 3 years and never quite ventured to Derby, only for a solo house viewing once. What's some good spots for away fans and what are the good touristy things that represent your city in a good light, I like to try and capture the place I visit on my vlogs if I can.
Congrats on the win, I didn't think there was much in it, and thought it was a classic away performance, you slowed the game, frustrated us and had a moment of quality on a mistake to seal the 3 points. My thoughts on Warne are, I believe he will get you promoted, whether it's this season or the next, but I think he'd have yous struggling in the championship. I think back to how good yous were in the early 2010s, and it's night and day. I remember a game at the Valley where we won 3-2 but you played liquid football at times, I've seen a few of your fans say the football is negative and hard to get behind, I'm always stuck in two minds if results matter more though overall.
    Anyway here's my vlog:

My uncle Antnony features on here and he's a life long Ram, not sure if he'd be a familiar face.

Always had a soft spot for yous for two reasons, the first being we shared an FA cup final (way before my time of course) and that I actually donned one of your kits when I was younger. It was the away strip from the late 90s, my uncle was trying to convince me to be a Derby fan and bought me it. Funny story is, I ate too much pizza one night and threw up all over it, resulting in it having to be thrown away, a week later I attended the Valley and the rest is history! I was probably one bad pizza party and a trip away from Derby to being a full time Ram haha.

All the best for the season, I hope to see some of yous at Pride Park and look forward to my visit. Good luck in the hunt for promotion, hope yous can do it 👍🏻
